Chapter 19: A Secret untold

Recap:

Suga approached the figure and right as he reached over to tap their shoulder they switched what song they where playing. A jumpy beat played off the keys as they shot up, standing to play.

"I'm still standing! Better than I ever ah!!" Sky jumped backwards over her piano throne, landing on the ground when she saw Suga. "Jesus Suga! You scared the daylights out of me!"

"I-I'm sorry Sky! I didn't know you where in here!" Suga stuttered, startled after Sky jumped.

"I was in the shower! Why else would my hair be blonde again?! Jesus Suga," Sky cursed as she stood up.

Suga blinked, he hadn't even noticed Sky's hair was buttercup blonde. Sky cursed under her breathe as she brushed her self off and pushed the sheet music back under the piano. Suga watched embarrassed as Sky reset things, setting her piano throne back up and leaning the violin back against the front leg of the piano. When she was done she turned to Suga and clapped her hands together.

"Now then what is it Sugawara? You must have come in here for some reason," Sky said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Uh um well," Suga shifted. "I need help?"

"Suga I can't hear you. You're muttering and you keep looking at over at-" Sky paused when she followed Suga's gaze to the table stacked high with pictures. "You looked at a few didn't you?"

"Yes. I'm sorry if they are pri-" Suga stopped when Sky dragged him back to the table.

"It's fine! We don't look at them much anymore anyway," She said picking up the darkened frame. "I bet you're wondering what happened huh? What all of this is for?"

"Wha!! I wasn't going to ask!" Suga exclaimed and Sky laughed softly.

"It's fine Suga. This was Allie, Allie Maria Knight," Sky said tilting the picture towards Suga. "She was me and Day's girlfriend."

"She was your girlfriend?" Suga asked and Sky nodded.

"Me and Day were dating her. She was our omega. We loved her with all our hearts," Sky explained putting the picture back down, she continued to speak as she ran her fingertips along the other frames. "These are our best memories of our Allie."

"What happened to her?" Suga asked and he stiffened when he saw a tear roll down Sky's cheek.

"She drowned. After Allie died her Mom moved back to America, that's were Allie is buried actually. Day and I have a place for her in a nearby ash house. Her Mom let us keep some of her favorite things for it," Sky's voice was breaking and she bit her lip as she cried.

Suga gasped, Sky and Day seemed to be balls of sunshine he never expected something so horrible to have happened to them. Suga wrapped Sky in a hug but she pushed him away. Sky wiped her eyes, took a few deep breathes and turned back to Suga with a smile.

"So why did you come looking for Lightania and me?" Sky asked, the bubbly tone back in her voice and a smile wide on her face.

"I- well I was looking into pack history for a research project and got a little lost," Suga admitted with a chuckle.

"Oh pfft! Where did you get lost? Those books are so easy to follow I fell asleep in pack history class! Haha!" Sky laughed and Suga blushed.

"All the authority figures are females I wanted to know why."

"Oh is that all? Please! The males of the pack discovered that their wives were the ones who had the answers when they had a problem so they put their wives in charge! Simply put women are better politicians," Sky explained rolling her eyes. "Though I'm surprised that's your only question considering Bay Lee is a High Duchess, and Day and I are her Royal Rights. Those titles is where shit gets confusing."
