EPISODE 15- HOME

We were in the quinjet by now, and ever since I agreed to share what happened to me, thoughts ran through my head.
I was afraid to tell them what had happened to me, what if they didn't accept me anymore? What if I wasn't the same y/n that they knew before? Would they still like me? I was quickly snapped out of my zone when I felt a heavy arm lay on my knee.

Bucky: hey, you ok?

You: yeah im fine just...thinking

Bucky: yeah? About what?

You: I dunno, I'm just trying not to overthink everything like I always do.

Bucky: yeah, well Im sure if you lay down get some rest and take the time to relax your mind, then maybe you won't have to feel that way

I nodded my head to show that I heard what he said to me, I shook it off. Once he left to the pilot seat, I laid my body down on the bed, pushing my head into the soft pillow. I drifted off into sleep, I felt myself sink into the cushion. It was actually kinda hard, considering it was a medical bed, it was still better than sleeping on rocks and soggy dirt though.

I woke up to a not so soft landing.

You: oww! What the hell?!

I peeked out the mini window next to me

You: oh we're here

I wasn't all that ready to be back, I mean yeah it's great to finally eat real food and sleep in a real bed, but was I really ready to be back?

Bucky instantly ran into the medical room I was in

Bucky: hey, you ok?
You: yeah yeah, I'm fine
Bucky: ok, tony took a hot landing, kinda wrecked up the ship a bit, but whatever. You ready to go inside?
You: I guess so

Once we got to the door I felt faint and nervous, I wasn't ready to do this. I took a small step back, bucky hugged me for reassurance

Bucky: cmon it will be ok, im right here
Sam: were all right here, just let us know if you need us, ok?

I shook my head, at this point words weret going to describe how I felt.
The door swung open and a kid stared up at me

You: um, is that? Morgan? You're- you're so big!

She ran to hug me, she had grown since the last I saw her, I mean her head height was up to my chest. She was pretty tall for her age, but im also kind of short for mine.

You: um, how old are you now?
Morgan: im almost 10
You: holy- wow, how long was I gone?
Pepper: Almost 5 years
You: pepper!

I ran to hug her, pepper was like a mom I never had, she always treated me like her own. I didnt realize how much I'd really missed.

After all that, we went inside the tower, I immediately ran to the kitchen. Ofcourse heading for the fridge, I swung the refrigerator door open, scavenging for something, anything. I pulled out a plum, I shoved It in my face

Bucky: hey! My plums!
You: get over it, I haven't had real food in almost 5 years

Everone chuckled at me and my joke, I sat on the floor with about 3 plum pits of the ground and 3 different typed of chips scattered on the floor. I fell asleep again, maybe I was glad to be back.

*NARRATOR POV*
Bucky waltzed into the kitchen only to find you sleeping on the ground, a whole bunch of plum pits and chips all over the place

Bucky: oh my God

He cleaned up after you, and brought you to your room. He laid you down and covered you with your comforter. He kissed your forehead and left, closing the door behind him.

As soon as he left your room, Sam walked past him, but quickly stopped to talk to bucky

Sam: hey, how's y/n?
Bucky: ah...yeah she's fine, she fell into a food coma but I brought her to bed
Sam: oh ok thanks for helping her, y'know I really appreciate you taking care of her and looking after her all the time.
Bucky: I mean, yeah, I love her and I want her to be s-

Sam immediately interrupted him

Sam: you what?!
Bucky: i- well
Sam: I know you didn't just say what I think you said, what did you say
Bucky: i-
Sam: oh my God!
Bucky: sam! Let me talk!

Bucky was clearly nervous to tell Sam that he was in love with his daughter, but he went through anyway

Bucky: I've known y/n for a long while now and I really really like her, she's caring, funny and she's always been there for me all the time and we always have eachothers back and we take care of eachother. She makes me feel like I can be self around her, I feel like I can be me and not have to fake being myself infront of people...so what i said was...i love y/n

Sam stood im pure shock at what Bucky just said to him, sam wasn't sure how to express the feeling he was feeling, the thought of knowing that an 106 year old had a crush on his 21 year old daughter

Bucky: sam? Can you say something?
Sam: well, I mean I don't like you two together so much, but I seen the way she is with you. She is comfortable around you, she is happy when she is with you, so as long as she is happy I guess it's ok. But I swear to God if you hurt her
Bucky: never
Sam: if you ever break her heart of hurt her the way that spider kid did, I swear on my life, you better sleep with one eye open. Cuz I'll kill you in your sleep.

Out of nowhere Steve walks down the hallway and chimes in

Steve: yup, it's true, Sam knows how to properly dispose a body.
Bucky: oh- uh ok
