Knowing it was just Saturday I decided to sleep in, too tired to move around. I didn't want to get up, and just wanted to lounge all day at home alone.
My phone started beeping, signalling I had gotten a few texts. I rolled over to my bedside table before grabbing my phone.

wanna take you out
for dinner :)
im leaving tomorrow for
the states, i won't be back
for two weeks so i wanted
to see you before i leave

I put my phone away, deciding to get up and have a warm shower. I didn't know why I denied Doyoung's offer so quickly, but I just wasn't in the mood to go out with him.
He was a good guy, no doubt about that, and as much of a sweet guy he was...he was a constant reminder to what I had agreed to...this stupid marriage.
After a long shower, I got ready for the day, deciding to wear a simple white sweater tucked into a brown pleated skirt. Topping it of with white sneakers I grabbed my bag before heading out the door.
Once I was outside the house I saw Jinyoung waiting for me in front of the car.
"Good Morning," he greeted me with a smile, as I returned it.
"Good Morning...I just wanna go to Seunghee's cafe."
"Sure thing," he said, getting into the driver's seat.
We talked the entire drive there as he told me all about this girl he had been talking to, and how she makes him feel so loved.
I was so happy for him, but it made me realize that I wanted to feel and understand exactly what Jinyoung felt.
"Thank you so much Jinyoung, and good luck with her, fighting!" I said after I got out of the car.
"Of course, and thank you Jae-in...I hope you find someone you love too, and you will, so don't loose hope," Jinyoung said giving me a thumbs up, making me smile.
"Hopefully."
I waved goodbye as he drove away, before turning around and walking into the cafe.
"Jae-in my bestie!" Soonyoung came up to me straight away, hugging me tightly as I chuckled.
"How have you been?" Soonyoung asked, as I pulled away.
"I've been good, trying to keep busy, what about you?"
"Could say the same about myself...Seunghee keeps bullying me at work though," he sulked pointing to Seunghee.
"Don't worry, I got this," I assured him, walking towards her.
"Hey Jae," Seunghee said, running up to me happily before she hugged me.
"Hey, why is Soonyoung complaining again?" I said, making her roll her eyes.
"Please, he can't do his job properly and he's just always nagging me about when he can go home," Seunghee said, throwing a glare to Soonyoung.
I laughed at them, shaking my head.
"Here I thought it was something actually serious."
"Nahh, she loves me too much to actually hate me," Soonyoung said, making kissing noises as Seunghee groaned.
"Well I'm hungry so bring me something, I'll sit down," I said, patting Soonyoung's hair before I walked towards a vacant table before sitting down.
Just as I sat down, my phone started to ring, making me take it out of my bag.

"Hey stranger."
"Hi my beautiful noona~~" he sang out, making me roll my eyes.
"So now you remember your sister? What about the past like two weeks!" I said, as I heard him sigh over the phone.
"I'm sorry okay? I was really busy....and the time zones and everything really kills it, but hey...I come back soon—"
"What!? When!?" I whisper screamed, looking around to make sure no one was watching.
"Well I kinda wanted to keep it a surprise but I just wanna tell you already! I'm coming back in a few more days, after the semester is done.....I've decided to finish the school year in Korea."
"Did you get tired of New York that quick? It's only been a few months since you went," I asked.
"Shouldn't you be happy anyways? You always said you missed me...and plus, I always did tell you I only wanted to stay for one term," he said making me hum.
"True...do mom and and dad know?" I asked.
"Nope, I was going to call them now, but I just wanted to tell you first," he said, making me smile.
"Alright, alright...well hurry back home, I still have to kick your ass for ignoring my calls and texts," I said, making him chuckle.
"Yeah yeah...well I'm going to call mom and dad now...so bye bye."
"See ya."
I ended the call, about to put my phone away before I saw a notification pop up from Jeonghan.
My heart started racing, as I quickly clicked on the message.

Just then, Seunghee and Soonyoung approached me with cake in their hands, making me widen my eyes.
"Oreo cake? Ah you guys know me too well," I said, putting my hand on my heart as I looked at them.
"Well of course, who else would know your taste in cake?" Seunghee said as she sat down, followed by Soonyoung.
"Guys...I have something to tell you," I said, as they both turned to look at me.
"Hm?"
"S-So....remember Jeonghan? From the party we went to not too long ago?"
