This is a sequel to my Terrorcest book "God Bless the Children of the Beast." I would highly recommend reading that book first if you haven't already.

This is a high school AU book, something I'm not particularly a fan of, yet here I am writing a part two to the first one. It originally started as a reader's request, and was intended to be just a one-shot, but I couldn't stop writing, and it turned into a reader's favorite, as well as one of mine. Enough so, that I decided to write a sequel.

If you're unfamiliar with my writing, as much as this an AU, I generally stick to realistic situations, loosely based on Crue history, and peppered with elements from the era. I try to offer a balance of humor, drama, fluff, hurt/ comfort, and plenty of emotions in my writing.

I'm not going to summarize the storyline of the first book here for new readers. I'm just going to say, go read it first to have a better appreciation and understanding of the events and personalities in this book. I will however give a brief reminder of the characters.

Nikki Sixx: he's Nicholas Feranna in this story. I wanted him to be Nikki, and not Frank. I thought that a name change at his young age and juncture in life for this story, seemed out of place and not believable. So I just took Frank out entirely, and made his given name Nicholas for this story. He recently turned 18, and is living at Mick's apartment. He's dropped out of school and is working at a liquor store part time, and trying to get Motley Crue up and running in his free time.

Tommy Lee: he's Tommy Lee Bass. He's 16 and in his junior year of high school. He'll be 17 soon. He's simply trying to get a grip on life... life with ADD. He's recently had a fight with his dad, and is looking for a place to crash for a while.

Mick Mars: he's Mick Mars in this story, although his last name is still legally Deal. Like Nikki, I didn't want to bring his real life first name, Robert, into this story. He's 22, out of school, and has his own apartment. He's the only one who had previously played in a few bands and had played in clubs. He's a part time substitute gig worker. And collects disability for his bad back.

Vince Neil: he's Vince Neil Wharton. He's 17, and also in his junior year of high school. He lives at home with his parents and doesn't work. His full time job is scoring chicks. He already tried forming a little cover band with some friends, only playing one show in his backyard before joining up with Motley Crue.

Motley Crue: the band just formed. Nikki wrote the songs. No one other than Mick has any experience playing in clubs. Just an FYI, the overall vibe that the reader should have for the band in this story is that they will eventually reach success and stardom, just like real life. This story will not go that far into the future, but I think that it’s just helpful to know that, while wading through the story. The very end of the first book hung on that premise of future success. But for now, given their younger ages and inexperience in this story, they have to work a little harder to get there and to understand what it actually takes be in a band.

There's also an array of other characters in the book. Tommy's parents and sister. Nikki's family does not have a large presence in the sequel. Tommy has some OC friends from school who reappear. Plus there's a few other names drops that you might recognize. And a little fun with a half real-life, half OC character. You'll understand when your get there.

This sequel will pick up right where the last chapter of "Children of the Beast" ended. Same day, same scene.

My lovely beta reader, virtualbettie, has been kept very busy at work. Proofreading my chapters isn't easy to fit in anymore. She will be doing what she can, but it won't be too the extent that she'd done for my last book and a half. But during that time, she's helped me to become aware of some of my most common writing errors. So, I think I in a better place with my writing overall. I'm just bad at catching typos until the moment I upload, and suddenly they all appear.

Anyway, I hope that you enjoy this book as much as the first one. Enjoy.
