When Momo saw me, she ran at me. Just before she reached me, she tripped over her own feet and I had to catch her. The second she was back on her feet, she started lecturing me.
"Kazu Kaminari. Just where have you been? You had me so worried. I couldn't sleep! You get into trouble with criminals, hang up, and don't let me know your safe! Then you waltz in and leave before anyone could greet you! Where have your manners gone?!"
Her voice got louder and louder, attracting the attention of several others. Shinso looked at me, mouthing 'your fight' as he walked off. My headache grew and grew as she continued.
"Then the night of the attack! I didn't know someone with such an unusual appearance could just disappear! We completely lost you in the crowd! No one knew where you were! Then the big fight happened! You could have been killed! Your so irresponsible!"
I heard someone walk up behind me. The red wings that curled around me and the stench of alcohol revealing it was Hawks.
"Calm down young lady. I'm sure someone so small and cute can't cause that much trouble"
That lit a fuse in Momo. Hawks, what have you done?
"Trouble? Trouble?! She's the definition of trouble! Always getting hurt or acting without thinking! No wonder Cho is never worried! It happens so often there's no point in worrying! Have you ever thought about her?! How your recklessness makes her feel?! Have you ever asked her if she's alright?! How she feels about your shenanigans?! What about Shinso?! The poor guy called us in a panic. How he can handle you, I do not know... Why do I smell alcohol?"
I glanced up at Hawks, seeing his face pale.
"Not me"
I quickly darted away, leaving Momo to start lecturing Hawks. Midnight, Snipe and Cementos quickly joining her. Shinso sat on one of the many couches, a bowl of popcorn in his arms. Aizawa was sitting next to him, not as amused as the laughing Mic who stood next to them with a handful of popcorn. I glared at Shinso and Mic before sitting down. Shinso on my left, Mic and Aizawa on my right. I grabbed a handful of popcorn and started watching the show. It was quite amusing. Hawks tried to back away, but Fat Gum appeared behind him. He was now trapped by other heroes and an angry Momo. He glanced around, looking for help. When his eyes landed on me, I made a flapping motion with my hands. Just seconds later, he shot into the air and tried to fly away. Just when he thought he was free, Ectoplasm created multiple clones who worked together to grab him. Mic and I burst out laughing as he was pulled to the floor. Mic started choking on a piece of popcorn when Hawks was dragged back to the group. When he finally got away, he flopped onto one of the many couches opposite us and just relaxed.
With the entertainment over, everyone got back to their conversations. The noise level quickly increasing, causing my headache to grow. When someone shouted, a sharp pain shot through my head making me wince. A movement that did not go unnoticed by Aizawa.
"Is something wrong?"
I shook my head slowly. Another shout made me wince again.
"Bad headache?"
I nodded as I looked at him. He got up and walked over to Momo, who called over one of the many servants. That guy disappeared and came back with a glass of water and two white pills on a small plate. He held the tray out for me to take the pills and water. I looked at them, recognising the small symbol that stretched along the centre. It was a arrow that was on everything mother had ever created. Every drug has that symbol on it. Every chemical had the symbol on the bottle.
"It's Paramed Miss"
Paramed was a fast acting pain killer that mother had created about two years ago. Although it was good at relieving all types of pain, they sold it mainly for headaches. It was even noted on the packaging that it was good for headaches. It was quick to gain popularity due to this, and the fact that it could be taken by anyone over three years old. It was hard to overdose on, and was liked by all due to the company's refusal to test on animals. That was a lie of course.
I smiled at the servant, quickly swallowing the pills dry and thanking him. He left silently after giving me a genuine smile. Just like it was supposed to, the drug started working within a minute. Unfortunately, it stopped working just as fast.
"Feeling better kid?"
I looked a Mic.
"Kinda. Why are there so many heroes?"
Mic gave me a confused look.
"There's 15 heroes. Although most are teachers, there's also Mt Lady, Death Arms, Fat Gum, Manuel, Hawks and Kamui. That's a lot of heroes"
"We're worried they'll attack you guys straight after the attack. When your all home with your families. That's also why your here. This place is hidden from villains."
"So you bring a bunch of popular heroes together with about 40 kids and hope no one notices"
I stared at Mic as he struggled to think of a response. A voice helped him out.
"Well, Miss Kaminari, there are a lot of promising young heroes to protect"
