One Summer (In Editing)

Chapter 49

*Calum's POV*

I can't believe Krys is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad in just 9 short months and I can't wait. I am going to be able to hold the beautiful baby we created.

Today is the day that I have been waiting for. I am going to be able to marry Krys and we'll be together forever.

I woke up really early to get everything ready. I left Krys a note telling her to meet me at the beach by our house at noon wearing a dress.

I am currently at the beach preparing the stage for afterwards. The boys and I are going to perform one of our songs plus Austin's songs after the wedding.

By the time we finished preparing and all, it was 11:30. Krys was going to be here in 30 minutes and I can't wait.

We walked back to Luke's house and got changed really quick. I flew Meg and the rest of Krys's family out after we left yesterday so they wouldn't miss her big day. There was a patch of woods right by the alter so they were going to watch from there.

We already had everything planned out so hopefully everything will go as planned. If not, then we will be fucked.

We all got ready and went to the beach just in time before Krys got there. She got there like five minutes after we did.

She just followed the rose petals I had set up. She was wearing her white strapless dress with her hair straightened, like always. She looked absolutely beautiful in it.

I just stood where I was standing smiling as she continued following the trail. When she saw me, she just smiled and ran towards me, tackling me in a hug.

"Baby, what's all of this?" She said looking around.

"Well, baby girl, since you are pregnant and I can't wait like 3 months till I get to call you my wife forever, I organized this wedding for us." I said waving to her family to come out.

"Oh my god, Cal, I love it, but my family isn't here with me." She said frowning.

Not even a minute later, Austin tackled her into a hug. He grabbed her waist and spun her around. Her face had confusion written all over it until he put her down.

"Austin!! Zach!! Robbie!!!" She said hugging all the boys. They just laughed and hugged her back.

"Hey, Krys. We miss you back in Miami. We have a big tour coming up and I could use you." Austin said.

"Nope. I am pregnant and I am not flying around to preform." She said. He frowned but she kissed his cheek and he cheered up.

She hugged everyone and talked to them for a few minutes before we got ready.

The pastor rambled on and on about a bunch of different shit that I could care less about. All I wanted was to get to our vows and our "I do" so I can just call her mine forever.

"Its time to share each other's vows. The groom may go first." the Pastor said. I just stood there smiling like an idiot.

"Krysten, baby. God it feels weird calling you that for the first time within a year or so. Anyways, Krysten, you have made me the happiest man alive within the past year. I got to call you my girlfriend for a year and a half, got to call you my fiancee for like 5 months and now, after today, I will be able to call you my wife. Krysten, I love you more than anything. I would name every little thing that I love about you but I can't because the list goes on and on for ages. All I know is that at the very top of the list, the thing I love most about you is that you are you and you don't try to someone else's opinion. You aren't afraid to be your outgoing, shy, kind, beautiful, smart, athletic, sometimes scary self. You are 100% you and I have never been more in love with anyone besides you. I remember the day we first started talking. That was the day I fell for you and trust me when I say that I fell hard. I love you, Krysten and I can't wait to have our little munchkin here so we can start our family." I said smiling.

"Calum, I literally couldn't top what you just said. I love you so much, Calum. After I broke up with Alex, I thought I was never going to be able to trust anyone again, yet alone love anyone. Thanks to you, you have taught me that I still can trust people, but most importantly, you taught me how to love again. If it wasn't for you, I would be back in Miami wondering what went wrong with me and Alex or I would be in San Antonio with Cameron and Matt continuing the T3 with them. Instead, I chose to go with the love of my life and that lead me to where we are right now. I remember the first time I fell for you. It was while I was dating Alex and we bumped into each other in Miami. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and ran into you. When I looked up, I had butterflies in my stomach and that was when I realized that I was in love with you and not Alex. Me and him breaking up gave me the chance to find new love and hopefully be happy. I love you Calum. Thanks for making these past 2 years the best years of my life." She said kissing my cheek.

The pastor continued rambling on again about shit neither of us care about.

"Calum, do you take this women to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to him as long as you both shall live?" he asked.

"I do." I said. This is it!!

"Krysten, do you take this man to be your wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to her as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." She said smiling.

"Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Without hesitation, I crashed my lips into hers. She smiled into the kiss as she kissed back.

From this moment on, I was able to call her my wife and it was the best feeling ever.

"May I present Mr. and Mrs. Calum Thomas Hood." he said as we broke the kiss.

Krys hugged me and ran to hug her family. I have never seen a bigger smile on her face besides when I asked her out.

Luke, Michael and Ashton started playing Disconnected as soon as she finished hugging everyone. They were playing all the songs from our first date. I smiled as they played.

"Cal, aren't you going to go sing with them?" Krys asked looking at me.

"Nope, I am going to stay here and listen beside my beautiful wife." I said hugging her kissing the top of her head.

She just giggled and turned around watching the boys play. They decided last minute that I should just watch with Krys instead of playing so they have split my parts between Michael and Luke.

This is the best day ever and it's all thanks to that One Summer.

Heyy!! So the next chapter will be in Krys's POV without a doubt. I am debating whether or not it will be the day after the wedding or when Krys is having her baby. That will be up ASAP though. I enjoyed off Calum's last POV in this chapter with the title for a few reasons. 1) if him and Krys didn't meet that one summer they wouldnt be together, 2) i felt like it but its mainly the first reason. Well, I want to start on the final chapter so I am going to go! I love you guys so much!! ☺️❤️
