"Pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life, and take a swan dive off the roof of the building." Bakugo said with a smirk on his face, laughing at Izuku as he walked out of the classroom.

'Maybe he's right.' Izuku thought, slowly getting back to his feet. As his gaze left the floor he finally let out the breath he had been subconsciously holding in. Reaching out he gripped the strap of his bag, pulling it to his shoulder as he made his way out of the room.

Eyes glued to the floor as he made his way through the corridors, replaying Katsuki words in his head. 'Does he have a point? Will it really make a difference?'

Soon Izuku I'd pulled from his thoughts as light blinds him. Raising his hand he resided his gaze, eyes widening slightly at the sight. He was standing on the roof of the school. 'Was it fate? Am I meant to be here.'

His bag slipped from his shoulder as he made his way over to the railing. Izuku's chest heaved as his thoughts ran wild. Subconsciously he pulled his tie from his neck, popping the top buttons of his shirt in attempt to ease his breathing.

As his hands came in contact with the railing Izuku stared out over the surrounding neighborhood. 'Am I really doing this?' Closing his eyes he took a deep breath, "sorry mom."

Izuku climbed over the railing, pressing his feet back on the thin ledge. Leaning forward he dropped one hand to his side, causing him to jolt forward slightly. No panic came from this, cementing his decision. Loosening his grip slightly was enough for gravity to tighten its own grip.

His body began to tumble forward, a sense of pease set over his body. He closed his eyes and focused on the feeling on the wind on his face, his jacket slipped from his arms, but he didn't mind. He had no need for it now.

Time felt as if it slowed, but soon a new feeling took over. His body quickly made contact with an almost fluid like substance. Once his body was engulfed Izuku could feel himself stumble forward as he landed in the lawn below him. "How in the-"

Attention quickly turned ahead as a purple gaze took over his concentration. Then a man stepped out, offering a hand to Izuku. "Why did you jump?" Was all he asked

"I'm sorry, what?" Midoriya asked, confused by the scene that had just placed out. He jumped, but was saved by some mystery hero? But he still reached out and took his hand.

The man pulled him to his feet, "What makes out think death is a better option than living?" The man asked, clarifying his previous question.

"Because maybe than I'd have a chance at being useful." Izuku said quietly, Bakugos words screaming in his mind. "I'm quirkless After-all."

"That doesn't determine your use, people can do all kinds of things without relying on their quirks. Some quirks are even a hindrance. Compared to them you're the lucky one. The only thing being quirkless does is make the weak and cowardly fear the possibility of you being better than them." The man spoke, Izuku watched in awe. No one had ever called him useful, let alone the lucky one.

Water dropped on his hand, starting him, he reached up and felt tears on his face. "Join me, I'll show you how useful you can really be."

Midoriya looked back to the man as he handed him his charred notebook. "You have an amazing mind, and an eye for just the things I'm looking for."

Confused, Midoriya began to flip through the his notebook, "why do you have this?" There we're char makes from Bakugo and the pages were soggy. As he looked through it more, some pages were torn and he could've sworn some were missing.

"I must get going, but if you come to terms with how corrupt hero's are, I'll be waiting, villains aren't always the bad guy. You'll see." The man said before stepping back into another cloud of that purple mist
