I looked around, trying to find the teacher I asked help earlier. No luck. I looked around and saw the girl named Sandy talking to another girl. I listened to their conversation. I know I shouldn't listen to people's conversations, but maybe they might help me find the gym.
"Where do you have to go next Nicole?"
"I have to go to science next and Beth is in the same class with me,"
"Lucky, I have to go to PE," Great! Now all I have to do is follow her to the gym, because I have no clue where it is.
"I feel sorry for you, I heard the PE teacher is super strict on his students,"
"Ugh. Tell me about it. I heard that he made an 8th grade boy do 50 push ups in front of his class because he talked back," 50 push ups?! He must have said something really bad. I can't even do one! I'm going to die sooner than I thought. I started to worry and felt dizzy.
"Alright, GTG. Love ya!" How do people talk like that? Love ya? GTG? This might as well be an alien planet. Or I'm the alien here. The two girls walked away from each other and I followed Sandy. Her name is probably Sandy because of her hair. While I followed Sandy, I saw this tall boy looking at me. He had light brown hair, he was extremely pale, and he was slouching. He kinda looked cute for all the guys I have seen so far. But all the guys here are UGLY. I hope there's cute boys in this school and not trolls. I went downstairs and saw a white board by the door that said "DO NOT CHANGE TODAY!" I looked behind me and saw a door open. I peeked in finding a shower and lockers all over. Looks like I found the locker room, well I hope it is. I never had to go to the locker room in my old school, but this is middle school now. I turned around and walked over to the closed door that Sandy went through. I opened it and found a huge gym. There were wrestling mats in one corner and another door probably leading outside or the boy's locker room. I turned to the left, finding different kind of supplies on the ground. I put my heavy books next to a person's Harry Potter book and looked around. I saw my whole English class again. That makes it easy, I guess. They were standing on a red line in groups. I walked over and found myself next to another corner, once again. So far, the worst first day of school ever. 0 friends and no one will talk to me except a teacher asking what my name is. I looked around and saw a guy sitting in a chair by a table, typing in his computer. He had a white, short sleeved t-shirt on, and army pants. He had a whistle around his neck, and next to it was a dog tag. He had very light brown hair, and was mean looking. He had a huge bald spot on his head. Is this the PE teacher the girls were talking about? After he finished typing, he looked at us and closed his computer. He stood up, and marched toward us. Everyone was still talking so he blew his whistle making everyone quite.
"My name is Coach McTrigger," I smiled a little and looked at the ground. Some people's last name are weird.
"I have been teaching for 13 years and-" then I heard a boy laughing. Coach McTrigger spun around and looked at him. He walked up to him with a death glare. "What's so funny?"
The boy looked at Coach McTrigger with a smile still on his face. "Sorry, I was listening to a funny story," Coach McTrigger crossed his arms.
"What's your name son?"
"Luke Base, sir"
"A base? Huh. Tell your brother, Mike, I said hi,"
"Will do, sir" he said, still smiling. Coach McTrigger smiled and said
"We're going to have a lot of fun this year," he looked back at the class and continued talking about how he has a wife and 2 kids, which college he went too, favorite sports and other stuff I don't really care. He reminds me of a military general.. that doesn't shut up. I was about dozed off until the bell rung.
"Better get to class lads. You don't want to be late on your first day," I ran over to my books and took out my schedule. Looks like I have Math next. I walked upstairs and started walking. Before I went into the crowded hallway I heard Coach McTrigger shout "Don't Forget To Bring Your PE Clothes Tomorrow!"
