Wah-wahhh
The piercing sound of the siren ripped through our hidden car. Vinnie was parked behind a long line of bushes, unseen from the distant road. I counted the money that we had just "borrowed" from the lovely man in the gas station, he was very stubborn though, it took Vinnie three warning shots before he decided to give us the money. Can you believe it?
"Baby, I think we'll lay low here for a bit then plan our next move," Vinnie said as he attempted to look at the road in front of the bushes.
"Of course," I replied, fidgeting with my wedding ring.
I had gotten married to some guy after high school but our marriage was just a stupid teenage heat of the moment thing. He got locked up one day and since then we haven't seen or spoken to each other. Then Vinnie came along, the most charming man I'd met. We clicked instantly and he treated me like a queen, we truly are partners in crime. Then Vinnie was arrested and with the help of me, he escaped, only to be recaptured and thrown right back in. He was now out and I had decided to join him in his sinful life.

A few hours had passed and we were still sat in the same spot. Vinnie looked over at me and placed his hand on my thigh and rubbed it gently.
"I love you," He whispered and leaned in to give me a kiss.
I leaned in as well and our lips connected. My body leaned further across the middle of the car as our kiss got heated. Vinnie's hand travelled further up my thigh and my hand rested atop of his bulge. I was ready to climb over to his seat, when a knock was made on the drivers window.
"Hello!" A deep voice sounded.
Vinnie and I pulled apart and he then rolled the window down.
"Hi sir, what seems to be the problem?" Vinnie asked slightly irritated.
"I just wanted to make sure you folks were alright out here," The mystery man said.
"Yes, sorry. We just had some car troubles and tried calling some family for help but they're all busy. You wouldn't know where the nearest gas station is, would you?" I ask innocently.
The mans eyes avert to my chest ever so slightly and he clears his throat, "Uh, yes of course. Just down the road roughly 20 miles and it should have a green sign."
"Thank you very much," I said sweetly and gave him a wave.
The man gave us a wave and returned back down the dirt path that Vinnie and I must have not noticed.
"Ready V?" I asked Vinnie.
He looked at me with a smirk, tapped his gun and replied, "Always baby."
Vinnie diverted his attention back to the road in front of us and he pulled out onto the street, ready to make our next robbery.
—————————
The gas station was fast approaching and I was getting ready to make our third robbery this week, it was only Tuesday. Vinnie pulled up behind some trees away from the eyes of bystanders, however, the parking lot was empty at the moment. We got out of the car and acted casual as we walked up to the building.
"Hello folks!" The man greeted behind the counter.
"Evening," Vinnie replied curtly.
I whacked Vinnie's chest, giving him a knowing look.
"Act nice," I whispered gently.
We walked around a bit acting as normal as possible. The man now seemed distracted by his phone, this was our chance. Vinnie gave me a nod and I lifted my gun to the man.
"Give us the money now!" I demand.
Vinnie sneaks behind the counter and brings his gun up to the mans head.
"Please, t-t-take it," The man stuttered.
"Take it out of the register and put it in the bag and give it to my girl," Vinnie said to the man with a mischievous grin plastered on his face.
The man did as told and gently slid the bag across the counter to me.
"Thanks buddy," Vinnie said as he looked at me, I gave him a nod and a shot sounded through the building.
The mans body went limp and Vinnie dropped him and made his way back over to me. He held my hand and I gave him a big smile. Before we even made it to the door, Vinnie abruptly stopped.
"Cameras," he muttered with disgust. "Give me a minute baby," Vinnie finished as he gently pushed me towards the door.
I limped out of the gas station. My leg had been left badly after a terrible car accident, now I was reduced to limping. I looked up to see Vinnie exiting with a bottle of gasoline and he poured it out the entrance and around the outside of the building, he reached into his back pocket for his lighter and the place lit up. I stared in amazement and Vinnie came over to me.
"Let's go darling," He said.
He grabbed the bag from me and put it on his back, he then picked me up and started walking to our car. My skirt hiked up slightly and the tattoo I got when I was 16 was evident. It had my name and my husbands name on it. Vinnie rubbed my thigh were the tattoo was.
"I don't like that one," He grumbled.
I giggled a little at his possessiveness.
"I know babe but he was my stupid teenage mistake. I really love you Vinnie," I softly said, I took the ring, showed Vinnie and threw it back into the fire.
He smiled and kissed my forehead. Vinnie opened my car door and gently placed me in my seat before chucking the bag into the backseat and getting in his side of the car. Vinnie sped off down the road, steering onto any backroads if possible. I looked at him and he looked at me, we smiled. I knew that we were gonna die together if we ever got caught.
