CHAPTER 86: BACK AT THE GYM

Sydney said "Tommy what time are we going to leave tonight?"  He said "it starts at 7:00 so 6:45."  She said "ok so do you want to go back downstairs and visit with your mom."   Tom's mom showed Sydney more pictures.  She made sandwiches for a early supper.  At 5:00 Sydney said "Tommy"  He said "yeah."  She whispered in his ear, "Do you think we could go upstairs."  He smiled.  He nodded.  He said "mom Syd and I are going to go upstairs and rest awhile before we leave."  She said "ok I want to get pictures of you and Sydney before you leave."  

They went upstairs.  Sydney kissed Tommy. She sat on the bed. She said "Tommy please."  She undid his jeans. They made love.  She was crying.  Tom said "baby please don't cry."  She said "I can't help it I'm sorry. Please Tommy."  He said "Sydney this isn't our last time ok. I love you. Don't worry about it." 

Tom held her in his arms.  Tom said "hey baby."  She said "yeah."  He said "it's 6:00, we should probably start getting ready. Well it won't take me long but."  She said "ok do you want to go first."  He said "yeah."  She said "ok."  Tom took a shower and came out.  He had a white shirt, black pants, with a black sports jacket.  Sydney said "you look so handsome  and hot Tommy."  She hugged him. She said "will you give me some time to change and do my makeup?"  He said "sure. I'll go downstairs and talk to mom."  Tom kissed her forehead.  He said "come here."  He hugged her.  He said "Syd I love you so much."  She said "Tommy I love you always."  He kissed her a long kiss.  He left.

She went and put on her dress looked in the mirror.  She said I can't believe this is happening. This is like my nightmares. How stupid am I that I got myself into this mess.  Sydney's phone rang.  She said "hey Judy."  She said "hi I thought you might want to talk and to see Abby."  Sydney said "yes I was getting ready to call you. Can I talk to Abby."  Judy put the phone up so Abby could see Sydney.  Sydney talked.  Abby was all excited.  

Judy said "Sydney I'm so sorry I wish I could be there with you."  Sydney said "I know thanks. I have to do this on my own."  Judy said "I don't think I could do it. But if it gets too much just leave, get out of there and call me if you need me ok. I will be praying and thinking about you."  Sydney said "Thanks Judy."  Judy said "don't let what those bitches did define you. You're beautiful, smart, intelligent, independent, and a hell of a cop."  Sydney said "I don't feel like any of that.  I just feel like Michelle having to go to school, getting up and wondering what bad thing is going to be done to me today."  Judy said "honey you're not alone.  You have Tommy there to defend you."  Sydney said "until he finds out I'm Michelle. What if he joins in again?"  She said "honey  I can't imagine he would do that. Tommy has changed.  I mean he's a man now. Not a kid."

Sydney said "I hope he's not happy to see her. I don't know Judy I just really have a bad bad feeling. Kind of ominous. It's not just dread, I think something bad is going to happen."  Judy said "then tell Tommy you don't want to go. Tell him you don't feel well."  Sydney said "I need to do this.  I need to face these monsters. Even though I have been free of them, they have tormented me in my dreams. I don't want to have bad dreams any more.  I need to face them. I also need to see just once Tommy choose me over Anna. I mean yes he married me, but she's not been in his life.  What if she's still beautiful, and one look at her and he wants her."  Judy said "Sydney Tommy loves you.  He said that they ended bad right, and that he never loved her. I really don't think you have to worry about any of that."

Sydney said "I'll let you go. Give Abby a kiss for me." Judy said "Call us if you need us."  Sydney said "ok." 

Booker said "So how is Sydney."  Judy said "A mess. I'm really scared for her. I can't imagine how hard this night is."  Booker said "I know, I've been thinking about it, and she has got so much courage to face this head on, I just really pray Hanson handles this well, the shock I mean.  Judy said "yeah me too. And also that he shows zero reaction to Anna. I think even the slightest thing, if he does anything but be hateful and mean to her and snubs her, I think Syd will totally lose it. She will just blow her top. She's got years of rage for that woman."
