Bella's POV

A few days later my apartment was ready. I made Luke help me unpack, ignoring his objections.

"You have like, nothing here." He said. I had maybe ten, fifteen boxes.

"I have enough," I took the box from him, setting it in my room.

"Three of these boxes are all books!" Luke exclaimed from the kitchen, and I heard several books plop onto the counter.

I rolled my eyes and looked around the empty room, nothing in it but a bed, small dresser, and a closet. I sighed, realizing the whole apartment looked empty.

"I don't even have toilet paper," I looked around. "Or ice in the freezer. The whole refrigerator is empty." I said, thinking about how completely unprepared I was. I had meant to be getting it all ready in the last few days, but with Luke here... I got distracted.

"You have me," he gave me a cheesy smile.

"For a few more hours," I hugged my arms around myself, since it was still freezing in the apartment.

"I know." He frowned..

"You can't stay for another night? I'll be all alone..." I sighed dramatically.

"The guys would kill me."

I looked down. "I know. Never mind, sorry."

Why would I think he would stay? He had to go rehearse, he actually has a life, unlike me.

"I didn't say I couldn't," he laughed softly.

I looked up at him, suddenly grinning like crazy. "Really? You'll stay the night?"

"Of course. I wouldn't pass up a night with a beautiful girl like you." He smiled, making me blush.

"What could we possibly do all night?" I raised an eyebrow, looking at him.

He smirked. "I've got some ideas."

Luke's POV

Bella looked up at me, her eyes glancing to my lip ring. She smiled slightly.

"What?" I questioned, pulling her closer-which didn't seem possible, as close as we were laying together.

"Why'd you get that?" She tapped her finger on it, blinking her eyes slowly.

"I'm not really sure. I was a little drunk and it seemed like a good idea."

She laughed softly, her eyes crinkling slightly as she smiled. It took my breath away, just like everything she did. She did that so easily-she just had to smile and I was dead.

"I like it." She yawned softly.

"I like you." I said immediately.

She blushed. "You better, I'm laying here half naked."

"I like that too," I smirked, seeing her blush.

"Shut up." she whined, reaching over and pulling my shirt over her head.

"That's my favorite shirt, by the way." I chuckled.

"All Time Low?" She looked down to read it, her dark hair falling in her face.

"Yeah. It looks good on you."

"You say that about every shirt I put on," she rolled her eyes.

"It's true." I smiled.

She blushed, looking away.

I heard the familiar ring of my phone-it was Michael, by the ringtone. I groaned and answered it.

"Dude, where the hell are you?" Michael snapped into the phone.

"I'm at Bella's." I yawned.

"We leave tomorrow, Luke! You have to get back here!"

"What!? We don't leave until next week!" I sat up quickly.

"That was last week. We leave for Japan tomorrow! Get your ass back here, or I swear to God-"

"Alright! Fine!" I hung up.

"What happened?" She sat up.

"I got the dates screwed up," I sighed. "The guys are gonna kill me..."

Her face fell, and she looked down at her hands. "Oh."

"I can delay it..." I said, hating to see her upset.

"No, its fine." She forced a smile. "I'll see you... When?"

I shook my head and sighed. "A month, give or take."

She frowned again. "Oh." she said again. "I'll see you in a month, then."

"I can try to fly out sooner, though, I promise."

She wrapped her arms around my torso slightly, and I hugged her back, not wanting to let go. Ever. But I had to eventually, and I had to leave her.
