~third person P.O.V~

Daryl Dixon was in the middle of the woods, leading this group of people back to the highway where Dale and T-Dawg were waiting on their return. Still no luck locating Sophia, but they were still searching about as they moved along. They decided to stop for a short break and drink, as Lori sat down, complaining about how everyone was treating her husband after Sophia ran off, even though he was the only one to take off after her into the woods. Daryl knew that if he were there when it happened, he would have gone too, and they could have probably been done with it by now. He overheard Andrea talking to Carol about hoping and praying that Sophia would be safe, and that they would find her.

"Well if you ask me, ain't worth a damn thing, all this hopin' and prayin'" He spat. "We're locate that little girl. God, I the only one zen around here?" He asked walking off to start the journey once more.

"How far off are we exactly?" Andrea asked following everywhere.

Daryl looked up towards the sky for a moment. "about3 miles, as the crow flies." He answered. He was still miles back though, thinking about Sonya. They had heard a gun shot earlier, that worried Lori as well, just one singular gun shot which was confusing. Daryl knew that none of them would risk the noise to put down one walker. Deep in the back of his mind, He hoped that it was Shane finally taking the hint and blowing his own face off. He didn't let anyone know though, he had to keep his composure, he was the one that had to get these people back. They would, quite literally, be lost without his direction.

Just then the sound of Andrea screaming made them all turn around and run towards her, trying to get there in time to help. Andrea was pinned to the ground but this drooling, stinking corpse, screaming for someone to help. At one point, it seemed like, in slow motion she swore she heard galloping. She looked over just in time for a woman on a horse to hit the walker with a bat, sending it flying off of her.

"Lori!" She called. "Lori Grimes?!" She called again.

"Thats me." Lori said running up.

"You have to come with me, right now. Theres been a accident!" She said patting the saddle.

"An Accident?" She asked panicking.

"Carl's been shot, Rick sent me to find you." Lori gasped and ran over, climbing up to get on the horse with this woman.

"Whoah!" Daryl yelled. "You can't go with her, we don't even know who this is!"

"Rick said you have others? On the highway? Backtrack 2 miles, dirt road on the left you'll see the mailbox, names Green." She said helping Lori up. "Dixon?" She asked. Daryl nodded. "Sonya said to tell you shes fine and they're all waiting for you there." And then she galloped off with Lori until she couldn't be seen anymore.

The walker the girl has saved Andrea from sat up and moaned.

"Shut up" Daryl said shooting it through the head with his crossbow. He got everyone to focus once more and they made their way back to the highway. The girl had said Sonya was alright, which put his mind at more ease and was able to just think about getting back to the highway and getting out to where the girl had told them to go. It wasn't long now before they could see the outline of the road through the trees and everyone moved a little faster.

When they got there Dale had been waiting on them, Andrea went straight to the Rv and went inside. Glenn explained to Dale that she had a close call with a walker, then explained what happened with Lori and what the girl on the horse had said.

"Well we can't just leave." Carol said, finally speaking up. "I'm not going anywhere without my daughter."

Daryl sighed. "well We'll stay here for the night, gives us time to fashion a sign, leave some supplies telling her where to go."
