|Diana La Rossi|

We arrived in Guyahji at the main docks around 6. Alessandro's men were already in their position, and from the loud sounds and alarms blaring, we arrived at the perfect time, because they were currently unloading them. I checked my mic and gripped my gun before exiting the car, the wind instantly blowing at my face.

To say that it was cold was an understatement.

My skin immediately prickled and goosebumps probably appeared all over my skin. I drew the coat tighter around me, and watched as Alessandro exited the car as well, completely oblivious to the harsh weather. He squinted and talked with some of his men before they nodded and hurried away, and he turned to look at me.

His gaze made me melt on the spot, and I rolled my eyes before turning away. A distraction was not what I needed. However, I could hear his footsteps and soon enough his arm brushed against mine, the tiniest bit of friction sending a bloom of heat all over my body. I shivered and took a step sideways, and he confusedly looked at me.

"So, what do we do now?" I ask, trying to ease the tension.

"We wait, Diana. Follow me," he waved his hand at me, and I followed him.

He walked across the docs and down the metal stairs, near the shipment. A bunch of metal boxes were around, and they all stank like fish. I wrinkled my nose and walked a little bit faster, getting away from the smell. Alessandro stopped mid walk and raised his hand, which silenced me from asking any questions. He nodded towards the metal compartment next to us, and I sighed as I stepped inside, the smell of fish only growing stronger.

As we crouched at the end of it, into the darkness, a pair of footsteps came closer and a silhouette walked past, humming a song. I turned to Alessandro, and his fingers wrapped around my chin as he pulled me closer, till his breath was hot against my cheek. He brushed a strand of hair back with his finger, and whispered into my ear.

"Let's make it out clean, shall we? Perhaps no killing unless necessary. It will make us very obvious, and we don't need him to raise his security levels. We can knock them out, steal their uniforms, get the shipment inside and secure it before they know what's happening. How's that?"

His voice was low and husky, and at such close proximity I felt every breath he had. His knees brushed against my thigh and I turned to him. In the very dim light we had, I could make out a smirk on his lips, clearly taking my reaction as something amusing to him. Very well, two can play this game. I ran my fingers down his jaw before leaning in, brushing my lips against his ear.

"It's a great plan, Alessandro. Follow my lead?" I pulled away enough to watch his expression, and his eyes darkened as he nodded. His jaw was clenched, and I mentally laughed before walking away, making sure I made no noise.
