If you watched demon slayer, you should know the rui vs tanjiro hinokami wala kabam whatever. It shows rui as a very hm, strong, character. And after, it shows a episode where muzan just whoooops the rest of the lowermoons besides enmu. ANd yes, tbh, they looked weak. very. veeeeeery. So my question is, is rui really that weak?
Part1: ranking
To become a higher rank in the twelve kizuki, you must ask a fight to the demon with a higher rank than you, and also request it to muzan. Lets say, Enmu wanted to rank up too UM6, then he should request a fight to Daki and Gyutaro, and also request if he is allowed to fight them to muzan. Sooo if rui was LM5, then hes considered weaker then the weird cyclops dude with one eye? Cause all i saw was that he was a very ignorant brat.
Part 2: Why Rui was a lower rank
Soo i had to search up why rui was a lower moon. Through a lot of my research for such a stupid topic, i learned that Rui was stronger than Enmu. He wasnt as strong as Daki and Gyutaro, but he was for sure and indeed stronger than the enmu before. ( Enmu before he earned more of muzans blood) Muzan could clearly see it and wanted too switch Rui too LM1, but he thought Rui was to childish, as all rui was interested in was family roleplaying.
Thats it. I gave 2days and a half to answer my dumb question. WHEEZ :>
