Russell's Cousin- Lando Norris story

"Baku to Austria?" You said bursting out laughing at landos recent Instagram caption
"Why? What's funny?" He said completely confused as he focused while on the sim at the MTC
"We go to France this weekend. Lando, your doing the french track now you muppet"
"Am I?"
"Yes you are" Jon laughed as lando handed you his phone to add a comment correcting his mistake.

You had both been at the MTC all day getting some prep in before France, lando on the sim while you were working close with Jon to accommodate lando's training before meeting with Daniels trainer too. The week was going to be pretty busy you could tell before the triple header.

Friday lunch (before fp2)
You decided with the england match being tonight that you could host a small dinner of a few of your closer friends on the grid, lando agreed it would be a good idea too.  

Anna: England are playing tonight, do you want to come over to lando and mines apartment  for food and the game?

George: yeah sure, I'll be there for 6

Carlos: of course! Tell lando I'll bring the hammon

Mick: that would be great, I'll see you later

Daniel: pff of course, see you later an-nan!

Charles: yes, I'll bring Charlotte too :)

After practice finished and you had been to debriefs, you made your way back to the apartment you were staying at with lando piloting the motorbike which you still were not overly impressed about.

Before you knew it, Carlos and Daniel were knocking on the door followed by Charles and Charlotte just before Mick and George arrived.
"Landooo!"
"Carlos!!" Lando shouted back while you brought through some more snacks.

"Carlos, tell lando that he needs to get the beers from the fridge" you spoke as he walked in
"Lando! Do what she tells you" Carlos shouted and from that moment on you knew it could be a long night.

"Bonjour!" Charles shouted as he guided Charlotte in front of him, handing you a bottle of champagne before Charlotte kissed your cheek.
"Ah Bonjour! Proper champagne as we are in France" you laughed "a glass?" You asked to Charlotte and she nodded while you popped the cork.

"Hiya guys, sorry we are late" mick apologised as they arrived five minutes after the test got in
"Your not late! So glad you made it!" You replied giving him a hug. As you wrapped your arms around his neck you could already feel the glares in the back of your head from lando.
"And last but not least, no wonder you were late Mick. Georgie was too busy fake tanning!" You laughed as George was stood behind
"That was once!" He shouted
"Twice more like!" You laughed
"Ok ok we don't need a murder" mick laughed
"Classic Russell eh? Late to get here, last to leave" he said with a grin as you hit his chest lightly

"Ok so we have snacks for now but I'll put pizzas in the oven in a bit, does anyone want a drink?"

Daniel was making himself at home with only having to travel across the road from yours so he was helping you get everyone drinks. "Anna grab an esky to keep the beers cold" Daniel shouted
"Esky? What-"
"An esky, you know the good thing boxes"
"A cooler?" You replied
"Yeah just hurry up it's starting!!"

Charlotte sat with Charles while you sat next to lando, snuggled into his side getting ready for the kick off.
"This better be a good match" George commented
"Well we can hope, it's Scotland so we should walk it" you replied

"Lads! You all better sing!" George said standing up for the national anthem ready to belt it out with his hand on his heart. Everyone else stood while Charlotte and Charles were too busy laughing at you all including Carlos, mick and Daniel who aren't even British.
