"This is Luca." Julian interrupted my thoughts.

"Is that supposed to mean something to me or-" I retorted back, pondering over why I'd need to know this man.

"He's your new boss." Julian stated.

New what now- Did he just say what I think he said. What? NEW BOSS?

My eyes immediately widened and my jaw dropped as I slowly turned to look at my new boss.

"This is the new girl? Are you on drugs again?!" Luca scrunched his eyebrows whilst pointing at me, shouting at the poor guy.

Julian anxiously nodded his head.

What have I done? This was my only chance to get a job at the Vasquez Bar and I've fucked it all up. Or maybe Luca will still let me keep the job? Maybe?

"You're fired."

Maybe not then.

"Bu-" I tried to speak but there was really no point in persuasion.

"But no. Goodbye." Luca waved at me, hinting me to leave.

I huffed to myself and took one last look at Julian who just shrugged at me sadly.

I had to get the job here, it was the only way I could get recruited into the Vasquez Mafia. So I said something I thought I'd never say.

"I'll do anything, just give me the job and I promise I'll do anything you want me to." I resulted today my last result as I internally cringed to what had just left my mouth.

Luca stood there, contemplating whether or not he should give me one more chance. He tapped his index finger under his chin.

"Anything?" He questioned me with one eyebrow raised.

I stared at him for a moment, already regretting the situation I had put myself in.

"Anything." I repeated after him.

"Fine." He muttered before he ran his fingers through his damp hair.

Relief ran through my body, I couldn't believe the damn miracle that had just occurred before me.

But I did just make a promise that I know I'll regret horribly. Shit, what have I just agreed to.
