Some Wrecked Angel pt. 5

Astra's right hand was raised. For ordinary people, she looks like she's trying to touch the air but for the light fairy, she's actually touching a magical barrier of some sort. Warmth travels from her fingers through her veins as she touches the air in front of  her.

'A Magical Barrier? Illusion Barrier---no, A magic veil. Queen Luna is the only capable fairy who's powerful enough to create this seamless veil.' - Astra thought. What's weird enough is the tingling sensation traveling from the air to her fingertips and spreading a warmth inside of her system.

Her train of thoughts was interrupted when the warmth on her fingertips morph into electric tendrils that made her to withdraw her hand in one swift motion, blowing her stinging fingertips as she turn around and glare at the Air Fairy who's clearly the reason why she got electrocuted, the latter smirking at her smugly.

"Must you be a show-off? A warning would've suffice." Astra glares at Beatrix who smirked at her, still standing proud behind Bloom who looks shocked.

"W-what is this?" the fire fairy stuttered.

Beatrix deadpanned but her expression immediately lightens as she speaks, "Welcome to Aster Dell. It was a beautiful place. Full of people just trying to live their lives," her voice laces pride as she speaks about the place where she came from. Walking towards Bloom, she continues, "'Till one winter when Burned Ones surrounded the settlement, and a military unit from Alfea decided that destroying the creatures was more important than the lives of the people here."

The Aster Dell--or at least what used to be the Aster Dell was now a ruins, the remaining stones of what used to be the houses are the only tell-tale signs that a civilization had live there. While looking at the ruins of Aster Dell, Astra's eyes caught something small moving on the ground from her peripheral vision. It can be easily noticed because it was black.

Looking down, it was a pitch black bunny, hoping towards her until it stops right below her. Her brows furrowed, looking back to the two girls who are still busy conversing. How could a bunny live here in Otherworld.

She shrugs her thought off to the thought of they're animals and it's not like it's not usual to see a bunny in Otherworld. She squatted down, about to pet the bunny but it suddenly turn around and hop away. She pouted. She always finds bunny cute.

The odd thing was the bunny actually halted and looks back, seemingly waiting for her to follow it. Queen Luna's words echoes on her mind,

"Never trust a creature living in the forest of Otherworld. They might look harmless but they came from otherworld." she use to say it alot when Stella and Astra were still little. The castle was near a forest and the two young girls likes to play in there.

Oh well, more reason to follow the strange bunny.

The bunny lead her further inside the ruined city, Astra having a hard time following the small creature because of how fast it hop away.

The black bunny stopped on what seems to be a house---or used to be a house. Only the foundation of the house was left, no door and no roof. The inside was all rubbish, cobwebs on the corners and rubbles littered around the once stone floor that was taken over by nature.

The bunny suddenly faces her, its pitch black round eyes staring at her, its irises sparkles under the sunlight as its head turn to the side slightly like its observing her.

Astra smiles, she always love bunnies. They're cute and fluffy. The light fairy kneeled down, about to pet the bunny but it suddenly hops away and under the remnants of what seems to be a bed. Astra pouted, thought that she must've scared the rabbit but it suddenly appears again, its incisor teeth pulling out a dusty fabric from under the bed frame.
