It was almost evening. The pink orange hues of sky started turning into the hues of dark blue and black. There were lesser number of people now as compared to when they first entered the park. Couples could be seen holding hands and walking alongside the pavement. Some were just holding hands and talking. Some were inside makeshift shelters in the park itself, kissing each other and making out. Gross! Families were almost nowhere to be seen. There was no screeching of crying children. Amusement park felt quiet and Shravan liked it this way.

He guided Suman towards a restaurant which was situated with in the periphery of amusement park. Suddenly Suman stopped with in her way. He got startled with sudden stopping of her steps. He turned to his right to look at her who was few steps behind Shravan.

"What?"

"Um, can we not go to that restaurant? I want to eat at Subway." She points toward the franchise.

He chuckled at the adorable girl who was standing in front of him, pouting. He was weak for the girl.

Yes, definitely weak for Suman.

"Okay, please don't pout. We'll eat at Subway."

They entered the eatery and both chose a table near the window. She felt a little discomfort and a little tightening in her lower abdomen. She felt as if the pain was descending downwards towards her thighs and legs. It felt a little stuffed even though she didn't eat anything. She thought the pain to be caused by her not eating anything filling during the whole day. In fact, she was so emerged in the rides and games, that she almost forgot about eating. They munched a little here and there but it was not filling enough.

"What would you like to eat?" Shravan hands her the menu card.

"Corn and peas sandwich and a coke."

"Are you sure? Will that be enough for you?"

"What do I look like? A pig?" Suman feels offended at Shravan's question.

"No, I mean you haven't eaten anything nutritious or filling this whole day. Do you need anything else apart from sandwich and coke?"

"No, this is more than enough for my little stomach" She repeats Shravan's words and stresses at stomach.

Shravan placed their order at the counter and came back with a tray having two sandwiches, a coke, cold coffee and cookies.

"Here is your more than enough sandwich and coke." He mimics the way Suman said a while ago.

They were eating in silence when Shravan noticed how Suman was twisting in her seat. She was continuously rubbing the place near her lower abdomen. There were sweat beads started to form at the side of her forehead and was bouncing her legs continuously under the table.

"You didn't like the sandwich?"

"No?"

"Then? Why did you stop eating?"

"Um, I need to go to restroom. I'll be back."

Suman rushed to restroom leaving behind a confused Shravan. She found an empty stall in the restroom. She quickly entered and pulled her pants down to check if her thoughts were correct or not. To her fear, she was correct. Her periods came two days prior to the expected date.

"Shit!"

She sat on the commode, thinking what to do. She thought of calling Kanchan but dismissed the thought quickly as they were far away from main city and it was practically not a good idea to call Kanchan this late. She thought of calling Veer, but again dismissed the idea as her brother was busy with fittings.
