Aisling is an Irish word meaning 'dream' or 'vision'

For a lonely midday in my far-away days,
                 I have a little dream.

A house of  wood, and soft green leaves,
in the tallest branches of the oak tree.

And when on that clear, blue day,
my dried leaf curtain would rustle in the breeze,
And the faint call of the songbird,
would bring with it the scent of the woodbine-

I'd pick up that well-played banjo
and strum a song for me.
