~Levi's P.O.V.~
It's been 12 years since my parents adopted Skylar. I had been slowly liking her. Her black fringed hair that flowed down her back, her lightly pink cheeks, her red soft lips, and those beautiful chocolate Brown eyes that she stated she inherited from her mother. As we grew into our teenage years, she began to turn more indie, grunge, punk, rebel, emo girl. She would do opposite things my parents told her not to do. Yeah, I do the same, but just dufferently. Like, if she ditches school and my parents get called by the school, she''ll immediately admit she ditched! Not me, I would totally deny it. Although, she fits the look that she wears. I've been told that she told her Best Friend Savannah that Skylar had a crush on me. She was beautiful and she pulled all the guys, and I would easily get jealous and make up a reason she can't go out with them. She never would go out with them, thankfully. Anywhore! My parents still accepted her for who she was. We were both labeled and stereotyped as emos and such, because we were both self-harmers,and my parents wouldn't care. My parents called us downstairs. "Skylar?!" I shouted at her door as I began to get ready to walk downstairs. No response. "Sky..?!" She opened the door. "H-Hey L-Levi" she said nervously. I dunno why. "Uh, mom wants us downstairs." "Okay" she said and ran downstairs. What was that all about? I asked myself. I shrugged it off and walked downstairs. Mom smiled at us. "Hey kids," she said. She wore a look on her face that shouted out to me saying I've got good news! "Hmm?" I asked. "Your father and I are going on a vacation. We are going to Virginia. It's for our anniversary, so no kids." "We aren't kids," Skylar said under her breath. Mom sighed.
