*swan residence*
"alright, you both need to tell me what's going on," our father demands one morning...
"well—"
my sister cuts me off. "when we lived with rene... she mentally abused us, like verbally..."
then his face turns to a dark shade of red. "WHAT?!... sorry... didn't mean to startle you... what did she say?"
"it started out as small digs about our school work... and then the way we dressed—specifically how isa dressed—... and then it got to the point where isa and i were had to go to therapy... she also got physical with isa when we were sixteen but i'll let her explain," i say deciding to answer this time.
he turns to isa who has tears in her eyes. "he's right... it was our sixteenth birthday party and she caught me making out with my ex... she pulled me off of him, called me a wh*re, and then beat the sh*t out of me... it was so bad that eli had to drive me to the hospital..."
"babygirl, i'm so sorry... she's not getting either of you back... i'm getting full custody, dammit."
