Chapter 3: Not the Same
Naruto's POV
"Naruto, you shouldn't go back to school tomorrow."
"Ino, despite whatever happened today. I'll still go. Hopefully, Itachi will tell Sasuke to not track me down and kill me."
"Well, you can sleep here for the night. Just promise me you won't do anything dumb tomorrow. Can't have my friend disappearing the next day."
She laughed and the atmosphere that was there earlier creeping on them disappeared. I laughed also.
"Do you wanna order some takeout? I'll pay of course."
"Yea uh. You can pick, Ino."
"Does Chinese food sound good enough?"
"Of course!"
We decided to pick a movie before the food arrives. We decided to watch a horror movie called "The Grudge".
*DING DONG*
"AYO THE FOOD'S HERE"
I rushed to the door opening to see a dear friend of mine, Choji. My face was the same reaction he had.
"EHHHHHH CHOJI???"
"Choji? Didn't know you had a job as a delivery boy. Thought you were working at a office or some kind."
"At least it pays the bills. Also, here's your food y'all. I can't stay here for to long so have a great night."
He waved off and Ino and I watched him drove off into the night.
"A little surprised that he didn't eat our food on our way here to be honest."
"Well who cares? C'mon Ino, lets hurry up before I have to go to sleepppppp."
"You are going to sleep during the movie or scream your head off during it. There is no in between."
"I'm not a scared cat unlike you! YOU'LL BE THE ONE SCREAMING THEIR HEAD OFF!!"
"YEAH RIGHT!"

Naruto's POV
I woke up to see the sun breaking out seeing the ripples of light going through the window. I was beside Ino who was sleeping. The TV was turned off. I got up making sure I didn't wake up Ino. I quietly walked to the Kitchen opening Ino's drawers and fridge to see if she any food available. But all she had was just 4 frozen waffles left in the fridge. Those waffles could have been expired but who cares. Food is food.
