"I think you should meet my family."

Frank looked up at Gerard, who was sitting on his desk while he did homework. "Your brother has literally tried to kill me."

"My brother is in therapy for anger issues right now." Gerard pressed a kiss to the top of his head. "This summer. We're gonna be in New York to look for apartments anyways, right? My parents are gonna be there. They're a lot more...open minded than Mikey. I think they'll like you. Just talk to them like they're real people and not, like, famous, or whatever, and they should be okay. Don't bring up money, too."

"Even if they know we're dating?" Frank put his pencil down and linked their fingers together, his promise ring clinking against Gerard's.

"Even if they know we're dating." Gerard kicked his legs. "I'm serious."

"I know you're serious, babe. I'd love to meet your parents. But it...it, like, scares me."

"I get that." Gerard hopped off his desk and laid down on Frank's bed, patting his stomach. "Come."

"You talk to me like I talk to Sweet Pea," Frank murmured. He walked over anyways and laid on top of Gerard.

"You like it, pretty boy," Gerard teased.

"I do." Frank kissed his jaw. "So, meeting your parents?"

"We'll have been dating for six months in June. Usually that's around when people meet parents, right? And we literally started officially dating the day I met your mom."

"Mm." Frank continued kissing Gerard's neck and face. "But. Your parents are a lot scarier than my mom."

"This is true." Gerard squeezed Frank's ass, making him jerk. "They are scary. But they're accepting of me being gay, at least, and they don't hate the middle class like Mikey does."

"Babe. Please be real with me. I am lower class."

"Okay, fine, my boyfriend has to go around begging for scraps."

Frank smacked his shoulder. "Some people actually do, don't joke about that."

"Sorry." Gerard kissed him. "You know I mean well."

"I do." Frank rubbed his eyes. "So, July, do you think?"

"Yeah? You wanna meet my parents?"

"Yeah."

"July works. I should be getting a letter about whether I got into SVA or not this week, so we can look for apartments based on that."

"It's New York, by the way, so we'll have to look at listings in July. And! I refuse to live in a rich bitch apartment. We have to have annoying neighbors and a bitchy landlord. And people to complain how loudly you moan when I fuck you."

"I'm not that loud." Gerard went red.

"You woke up the entire floor the one time I fucked you. At least I had the decency not to alert your entire house in Florida."

"Bullshit, you totally did. You moan like a whore."

"I'm your whore." Frank kissed him.

It was a school night, so sadly, Gerard had to leave. Ray wouldn't let him stay, unfortunately, so Frank pouted at him while Gerard left.

In the morning, as they talked over breakfast, Gerard ran into the cafeteria, clearly aiming for Ray. He hugged Ray and said, "I got in!"

Frank tried to contain his excitement. "Congratulations, Gee!"

"That's awesome!" Clo and Ryan said in unison.

"Dude, I'm so proud of you." Ray stood up to hug him and kissed his cheek. "That's for Frank."

"Thanks?" Gerard smiled. "Frankie, I'm gonna kiss the shit out of you after science, just wait!"

He ran over to his table to break the news to his other group of 'friends'. Clo looked at Frank. "Boy, you have got it bad."

"I so do." Frank took a bite of toast. "But so do you."

She blushed and looked away.

"At least she's not planning on moving in with Jenna yet," Ryan pointed out.

Frank held up his hand and pointed to his ring. "This, my good friend Ryan, is a declaration of love. And now, since he got into SVA, we can start officially looking for apartments."

"For real?" Ray clapped him on the back. "Congrats, man!"

"SVA is in Manhattan, though, good luck finding a cheap apartment," Ryan said.

Frank waved his hand. "He's rich and we're paying the rent together. Something like four thousand a month is nothing to him."

"You're gonna be that one couple married by nineteen," Ray said.

"Probably." Frank picked up his toast again. "But I love him, and that's what matters."

As promised, Gerard pulled Frank aside after science and kissed him. A lot. Frank's lips felt sore and abused when he finally pulled away.

"We'll start apartment hunting in July?" Gerard confirmed.

Frank nodded. "July."

Gerard kissed him again. "And you're gonna meet my parents, god, wanna skip to make out in my bed?"

"I have a few tests, but I wish I could. Would this making out lead...anywhere else?"

"Not today pretty boy, but nice try. You'll get laid soon."

"Fucked or fuck you?"

"You have a way with words. I don't know yet." Gerard kissed him again and leaned down to suck on his neck. Frank gasped and tangled a hand in his hair. Gerard pulled away after a few minutes, a dark purple hickey now decorating the side of Frank's neck, shiny with spit. "But that should hold you over for a while."

Frank nodded jerkily. "I'm- I'm gonna-"

"You need a bathroom or to go to class?" Gerard lowered his voice.

Frank checked his watch. "Class. I'll take care of it later."

"Don't pretend you're not gonna hump my thigh like a puppy while we make out."

Frank flushed red. "Keep talking and I'm gonna need a trip to your room."

Gerard smiled. "Get to class. Run!"

Frank kissed him one last time and sprinted out of the building, running to French. He made it just as the bell rang.
