[Jonah's POV]

I'm in my criminal justice class, and the teacher walks in and writes very familiar names on the board. I go to Gotham High School, and I'm a Junior.

Teacher: "Okay, today we're starting something. You will find familiar names on the board. You will pick a name from this hat. No trading or changing. I'll explain more after everyone has a name."

Everyone takes a name then it gets to me. So I reach in and get Poison Ivy.

Teacher: "Everyone will now write a letter to your villain or villainess. Now I will be notified if the Villians picked dont receive a letter, you will fail. But if the villain tells you something or sends you something that disturbs you, you will be excused. Now begin."

I think about what to say to her. Then, after about a few moments, I get it and start writing. After I'm done, I give it to my teacher. Finally, the bell rings, and I head to my other classes.

[Pamela's POV]

I was in my cell when Harley walked in.

Harley: "Hey Red, you got mail."

I looked at her confused until I remembered I signed up for that pen pal program to get time off. She hands me the letter, and I look at the name.

Pamela: "Jonah Carleton."

I open the letter and begin reading.

[Letter Begins] (A/N: You will see a couple of theses)

"Dear Ms. Ivy. My name is Jonah Carleton from Gotham High. Im 17 and kind of a nerd. I guess I'll ask this: Why commit criminal acts? You were a great botanist and could be again."

[Letter Ends]

I look at the letter and think. I then see something in the envelope. It's a picture of him, and to be honest, he's kind of cute. So I then write a response to his letter.

[Jonah's POV]

Im getting on to the bus to go home when a jock from my criminal justice class comes up to me.

???: "Come on, Carleton, switch with me."

Jonah: "Shut up, John. He already said no switching."

John: "But the Riddler is so boring."

Jonah: "Im sorry but no."

The bus stops, and I get off.

[Timeskip]

The next day I walk in, and in my locker is a letter with a note from my teacher.

[Note Begins]

"Attention, student of the pen pal program. I will be dropping off any letters at your locker, but please prioritize other school work before writing a response."

[Note Ends]
