The next morning started out blissful, until they realized how late they had slept in and that they were going to be late for karate. They rushed to get ready, quickly scrubbing each other up in the shower before they got dressed and Ivy helped Eli with his mohawk. She then had him pack up her karate bag for her while she scrambled to throw her bedding in the wash. When they were sure they had everything, they each grabbed a granola bar and shared a quick kiss before they separated to get into their own vehicles to leave.

They had just made it to the Dojo with barely a second to spare. Ivy tried to slip inside, undetected, but Eli wanted to make a show of it. Pulling her forward once they were inside the door, he kissed her deeply in front of all the cobras as her cheeks flared with embarrassment. Some of the cobras cheered and clapped, others wolf whistled.

"I knew it!" Aisha howled.

"About time!" Miguel whooped.

Ivy shoved Eli away, and they shared a smirk as they moved to the mats.

"It's not what it looks like, really." She shook her head at Miguel with a laugh.

"Whatever you say, loser." He stuck out his tongue.

"I'll explain later, okay?" she gave him a look.

"Alright, alright, enough now!" Johnny shouted with a smile, "Let's get going with some karate."

He motioned for them to get back into a square around the mats and they all moved to kneel.

"Diaz! Hawk! Practice match! Go!" Johnny barked.

The students watched as they bowed and launched into a fight in the square. They were pretty evenly matched, but it was still fun to watch.

Ivy couldn't help but keep her eyes on Eli. What they had shared the night before was incredible, and she could still feel his warmth on her skin. Suddenly, Miguel shot out his fist and hit Eli in the gut, forcing him to double over with a grunt.

"Nice work, Diaz!" Johnny nodded from the front, "Bow, go again."

They moved to reset, but stopped once they heard the front door fly open, the bell ringing violently above it. Everyone turned to see Daniel storm into the Dojo, his face twisted in agony and rage.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Johnny asked and took a few steps forward as Daniel stepped onto the mats.

"Oh, like you don't know!" Daniel growled.

"Take your shoes off the mat." Johnny motioned to his feet as he continued to move forward, "You're disrespecting my Dojo!"

"You're seriously going to talk to me about disrespecting Dojo's after what you just did to mine?" Daniel spat hatefully, closing the gap between them.

"I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I didn't do anything to your Dojo." Johnny shook his head with a scowl.

"Just like you didn't slug one of my employees, huh?" Daniel narrowed his eyes, and Johnny gave him a look that didn't deny it, "You know, part of me actually felt bad for you at one point, but you make it so easy to remember who the bad guy is in all of this! You call yourself a Sensei? You don't even know what a Sensei is! A Sensei mentors, a Sensei elevates, he doesn't teach destruction and disrespect!"

Daniel moved to shout in his face, and Johnny met him in the middle, unafraid.

"I already said I don't know what you're talking about, LaRusso." Johnny shook his head sternly, "And you don't know what you're talking about either."
