Chapter 1~Christmas Cabin!

We were headed to our cabin in the woods that we always got for the holidays. I was super excited to return this year. This year was going to be so different. Because we were together.

George and I had been dating for a full whole year now. We were more in love then ever before. I had on my brooch that brought us together. I wore it everyday to remind me of George's love for me.

I had gone on his tour with his Wham band all year. It was a blast touring all around the world with George. Watching him share his music with the world. Now he was on a break. We could spend some time alone.

It was going to be weird not having the whole gang there at the cabin to. Colleen. Robert. All of them. Colleen was disappointed but she understood. They all did. George invited them all because he knew I would come with them all. And I did. But I came for George.

George hands me the last bag of luggage we had brought with us then we headed inside the cabin. George turns on the power. And heats a fire in the fire place. It was a bit drafty in there. We had no Christmas decorations up yet. Because we just got there. We would have it all set up soon though.

"Mia come over here by the fire so you can warm up sweetheart" George demands.

I do as he asks me. I come over to him. He takes my hands into his. Warming them up. He smiles at me. His cheeks and mine were rosy red from the frost outside. He leans in kissing me on the lips. I melt into his kiss.

"I am so glad to be here with you! I have always dreamed of being here alone with you Mia. Here like this. Just us. So many years I yearned for this moment" he sighs happily.

"Here we are George" I say.

"Here we are Mia" he agrees.

"What would you like to do tonight?" I wonder.

"For now we need to unpack tonight. Get settled in. Then we can head into town. Get some groceries. And we will have a romantic dinner inside" he explains. "how does that sound?"
