JANUARY 23, 2017 GOTHAM CITY — 9:07 A.M.
Rylee Williams was a patient person, most of the time, but anyone would lose it if they had been shoved, stepped on, and cursed at for walking slowly. And she wasn't even the one getting in the way, it was her school counselor who had just moved from Missouri that had been stopping to check her Google Maps every five seconds. So when a man yelled at her to "get the fuck out the way," and shoved her, she couldn't keep her mouth shut.
"Why don't you just eat up the whole sidewalk, jerk!"
Here's a tip for any tourists out there: Keep your fucking mouth shut or you'll get chased by a man with a knife.
That's how Rylee and her classmate, Anthony Monte, ended up dragging their counselor around the city in order to lose the man Rylee had offended. Somehow they ended up exactly where they needed to be; Wayne Enterprise.
And just on time.
"Wow, we got here just on time! Google Maps never fails me," Mrs. Hemmings gushed, amazed by their speed, and put her hands on her hips as her bright, blue eyes gazed up to the tall building. She was a lovely woman who was very optimistic, but was so clueless.
