Mehra Mansion

"What do you mean Abeer beta?" Pragya asked.

"You are worried about the investor's backing out from fusion beats, right? Aunty, although we are still angry at you about the fight, that doesn't mean we will let anyone bully you," Abeer replied.

"What investors?" Pragya asked confused.

"The news is all over the media," Abeer replied dryly.

Pragya quickly turned on the television, the news of Mehras being on the verge of bank corruption was flashing all over the media. Everyone stood up in shock.

"What nonsense is this?" Alia shouted, furiously dialling numbers on her phone. Abir, Vikram, and Purab looked at each other in shock. Rhea stood stunned. "Kya Matlab ki back out hogaye? How can you let them? You should have informed us! You..." Alia yelled at the phone.

"Alia, what happened?" Purab asked.

"The investors backed off, they were saying that starting from Ranbir's molestation case the shares were falling, and now with Bhai's case they will reach rock bottom. They are not willing to help us," Alia replied with a clenched jaw.

"What do you mean by Ranbir's case, Alia?" Pallavi asked furiously, "It is clearly because of Abhi! My Ranbir has nothing to do with this."

"Really Pallavi? Do you even know about the company's situation since his case? Our company was going in loss, and Vikram couldn't attend any of the meetings due to that case. All the workload was on us! The reason why you could still have lavish parties was that I was draining myself to make sure the company is back up again!"

Pallavi looked at Vikram, to only see him nod.

"Now what are we gonna do?" Rhea asked.

"Pragya who called you to tell you this?" Abhi asked. This question pulled Pragya out of her thoughts, and she looked at her phone.

"Abeer beta, what did you mean by helping us?" Pragya asked with a shaky voice. Everyone looked at her questioningly.

Before he can reply, Alia interrupted, "What can someone you know do to help us? Don't try to act..."

"Shut up! Just shut up Alia, I am speaking here," Pragya said gritting her teeth. Her eyes were full of anger. "Abeer..."

"Aunty, relax. You can just send me the contract they signed and we can find a clause to log a case," Abeer replied, still as calm as ever.

"I don't understand what you mean," Pragya said.

"Is there anyone that directly spoke to the investor?"

"Ha. Ek minute," Pragya responded, "Which one of you spoke to the investors directly?"

Vikram came forward, and took the phone, "Hello?"

"Hello, this is Abeer Mittal speaking," Abeer introduced, his tone completely professional.

" Greetings Mr Mittal, I am Vikram Kholi."

" Mr Kholi, as I have just said to Pragya aunty, I can help you in your financial crisis. I can find investors for you, moreover, log a case against these. Hence you will also get reparations."

Vikram thought for a second, 'Currently, nobody will be willing to help us. Nor will we be able to find a lawyer right now, to fight against them." Clearing his throat, he asked, "What do you want in return, Mr Mittal?"

"I am not doing this for benefit Mr Kholi, but for my loved ones. However, we will need to sign a contract."

"What contract?"
