----End Note----Mackenzie's POV
"You ready to do this?" Kian asked."Yea why not. Let's go." I say and get up off of the couch.
We walked outside and got into Kian's car. He closed his door and I closed mine. He just sat there for a second before he put his keys in the ignition.
"Babe." He said.
"Yea." I said.
"Just promise me one thing." He said.
"What's that?"
"Please don't leave me again. Promise me that you will stay with me no matter what your mom says." He looked me in the eyes.
"I promise Kian. I won't let her come between us again." I said and leaned over the console and kissed him.
"Good. Let's go." He said and started the car.
We got to my house and sat in the driveway for a minute. I got out of the car and so did Kian. I waited for him and he walked next to me. I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers and held onto his hand tight.
We walked up to my door and I walked right in.
"Mom I'm home!" I yell and walk to the living room.
I sit down on the couch along with Kian. My mom soon comes in the room with a smile on her face, but it fades once she sees Kian and I holding hands.
"Mackenzie..." She starts.
"Mom, I need to talk to you and you just need to listen. Can I do that please?" I ask and Kian rubs his thumb over the back of my hand.
"Yea sure honey but what-" I cut her off.
"I'll get to him." I said.
"Okay, mom I love you very much and I respect you, but Kian and I are back together as of yesterday." I tell her.
"I can see that." She says.
"Sh just listen." I say.
"I decided to get back with him because I still love him and I will never not love him. He makes me happy and I think that if I am happy with someone or something then you should be happy about that choice of mine." I say and my mom nods her head.
"What she is trying to say is that taking her away from me just made her sad and it didn't benefit you at all. Why take away her happiness for no reason. I think that if Kenzie is happy then you should be happy too. I love her so much and honestly those small marks I left on her I an sorry about. They just showed my love for her. I didn't think that they were that big of a deal because it just meant that I kissed her there, but I guess you parents take it into other context. I understand that and I am sorry. I really am and I hope you forgive me and accept me and Kenzie to date again." Kian says.
"I accept your apology Kian." My mom said.
"Really?" I said.
"Yes, he has a point. I just did it because I was mad at what he had done to you and I did take it into another context because my mind jumped to the worst case scenario." My mom says.
"Thank you so much, so do you accept us being together?" I asked.
"Yes." She said.
I squealed and hugged Kian. I smiled and pulled out of the hug and hugged my mom.
"Thank you!" I said.
"And mom, I promise you that we aren't going to do anything "stupid" until marriage. Right Kian?" I said.
"Yes I promise." He said and hugged my mom too.
"I better get going. Thank you for understanding." Kian said as he stood up.
I walked him to the door and pecked him before he left. I went back to the living room and my mom handed me my car keys and phone.
"Thank you." I said again. My mom just smiled.
I went upstairs to my room and by now it was 8:30. I called Kian.
"Hello." He answered.
"Babe, guess what." I said.
"What?" He asked.
"I got my phone and car back." I said.
"That's awesome." He said.
"Yea I'm so excited that my mom is okay with us." I said.
"Me too and speaking of it, do you want to go to a beach party with me the weekend after graduation?" He asked.
"Yea of course." I said.
"Okay great. That's in about a month. The water should be warmer by then." He said.
"Okay so does that mean a late night swim with you?" I smirked.
"Yes it does." He said.
The conversation went on for about an hour and then we hung up. I fell asleep fast that night. I was so happy.
