Previously on The Step Sister....
"So from now on, we'll talk to other people. If I pop with a girlfriend you can't get jealous" Terrence told her. "And if I pop up with a boyfriend you can't be jealous neither" Taraji added. "That's a deal" he said as they did their pinky promise.

Then his phone started to ring. It was from his mom.

Terrence: hello?
Ma dukes ❤️: son.. I need to talk to you
Terrence: about what?
Ma dukes ❤️: this situation with you and your step sister
Terrence: oh we cool now ma we worked it out
Ma dukes ❤️: I still need to talk to you
Terrence; ok where?
Ma dukes ❤️: at your house
Terrence: alright
Ma dukes ❤️: bye

*end of conversation*

"I wish I could stay longer but I can't... mom wants to talk to me about us but I'll see you later though" Terrence told her. "Ok bye" "bye"

The present..
No one's POV
Terrence made sure that he had made it to his house before his mother could. With her needing to talk to him he really didn't want to talk about it considering the fact that him and Taraji already had a talk about it and they are trying to get back on good terms.

But he had to remember that he has to get back on good terms with his mom too. Now with Eddie, actually he didn't give a fuck. Terry was still pissed off about the fact of what he said to his mother. What he is wondering is... what made him say that? Did he say it because of something that happened in the past that his mom didn't let him know about or did he just say it just to say it?

He wanted to ask his mom that. Debating on whether he should ask her or not. There was a knock on the door. He opened it with no hesitation because he knew it was his mama. They hugged each other. He was surprised that she even wanted a hug from him. She sat down on the couch while he sat down beside her. They made eye contact.

"So how's everything going?" His mother asked him. "Good. I'm back on good terms with Taraji.... We talked about it." He told her. "Ok but what agreement did y'all come to?" Terry sighed. "That we will start to see other people and if she haves a boyfriend I can't get jealous and when I have a girlfriend she can't get jealous" he informed her. "You don't sound too happy about that" his mom peeped.

To be honest, he wasn't happy about it. Any boyfriend Taraji ever had in the past he was jealous of. But nobody never knew and nobody still doesn't know to this day because that's just how good Terry plays it off. Knowing that Taraji will soon have a new boyfriend it makes him sad. He can't say mad because they both agreed to it. Now with him having a girlfriend, he feels bad because he knows that he isn't going to really love the girl but maybe just MAYBE he'll meet a girl that will help him get over Taraji.

Believe it or not but he doesn't like crushing on his step sister. He doesn't like the fact that he imagines them in a relationship together, he doenst like the fact that he looks at her sexually sometimes. He doesn't even like how strong his love is for her because the love he has for her isn't even step sibling love really. Its that type of love where you'll do anything for that person. When you'll die for that person, when you can't get that person off of your mind. That type of love where you don't know where you'll be without them. When you cherish everything about that person.... Laugh, smile, scent, hugs, personality and a lot more.

That type of love when you are basically obsessed..... you don't want nobody having that person's attention but yourself. "Terrence?" His mother spoke. "I said you don't sound too happy about that" she repeated. "Honestly mom, I'm not happy about it. I just hope that she meets somebody that will make her forget about her crush on me and I meet somebody that will do the same." He stated. "Wait a minute... she has a crush on you too? I thought it was just you.." said Ruby confused. "No it's both of us who has a crush on each other. She just didn't admit it but she finally admitted it to me today." Terry told her.
