1D surprise

A Prank Gone Wrong

Lexi's POV: 

Liam and the boys have been super stressed lately due to the pressure from management to start working on their next album. I mean if it was up to me I would say that they deserve some down time just to relax for a bit. They have been busy over the past few years with the cycle of making new music, going on a large worldwide tour, having a tiny bit of a break and then repeat again with starting to make new music again. Yes they've had a few months off but really it hasn't been too much of a break between interviews, photo shoots and everything else. The girls and I have noticed this which is why we decided to plan something special. The boys all think we are all just going on a relaxing vacation and that's it, but they are in for a surprise. You see we planned it so that when they get back to their own homes, they will pack and then in the morning we will leave for the houses we rented on the beach. I say houses because  where we are going, the hotel has a bunch of different small houses you can rent so it's more private and relaxing. This is a plus because it means we can relax more without worrying about being recognized or bothered the whole time by fans. The first day/night at the houses will be relaxing, but the following morning, the boys will be sent off to the spa for massages. While there us girls will be setting up our own pranks if you will. We hope this will help the boys loosen up and have fun while being calming at the same time. Later on that night, we will all meet up for as we like to call it family dinner followed by a bonfire on the beach to roast marshmallows and just enjoy the each others company. 

---------------------------------The Next Day Checking In at the Hotel------------------------------------------------------

"I can't remember when the last time was that I just got to relax and not worry about work for two whole weeks was" Liam said as we walked into our hotel room/house. 

"I know you've been so busy lately, that I even feel like I don't have much down time with you and I'm married to you and live with you" I said causing us to both laugh

"That's the life that comes with marrying a member of a world famous boy band." 

"More like the life that comes with two world famous singers marrying each other" 

"I love my job, I really do. I just wish I had more time to spend with my beautiful wife" Liam said bringing a big smile to both our faces.

We continued to talk and just relax before we headed out to the beach with everyone for a few hours. 

Later that night after dinner Liam and I just talked and really just enjoyed our much needed time together until we feel sleep. 

-----------------------------------------------------The Next Day-------------------------------------------------------------------

The boys were still out and the girls had just left my hotel room/house after planning our pranks. Out of them all, I though mine was the best. I had written a note telling Liam I was hiding somewhere in the house with a Nerf gun and to come find me. I would be leaving this note taped to another Nerf gun outside the door which he would find upon arriving back to our room/house. 

About thirty minutes later I could hear Liam walking up the path before it sounded like he stopped at the door to read my note. Before I knew it I could hear him slowly open the door and cautiously call my name. From my hiding spot I could see him, but I knew he couldn't see me. As soon as his back was towards me, I fired my first shot and quickly moved as I could see him turn and take a shot in that direction. This continued until I fired a shot which resulted with my foam dart hitting Liam in the forehead with the suction cup causing it to stick. I couldn't take it any longer especially after seeing how wide Liam's eyes got out of surprise. I was laughing so hard my eyes started to water. I could hear rapid steps nearing my location. Before I could even take off I felt his strong arms grab me from behind. 

"Got you" Liam whispered in my ear still holding me from behind. 

Thinking of a quick plan, I quickly turned around kissed Liam as a distraction causing his arms to loosen around me a bit. Taking this as my chance, I quickly slipped out of his arms and took off down the hallway. Just as I was about to round the corner towards the kitchen, I slammed into the rock hard chest of my husband.

"Can't get away from me that easily" He said with a mischievous look in his eyes and a smirk plastered on his face. 

Keeping his arms tightly wrapped around me, He started to walk us backwards towards the couch. However things didn't go as he planned. Lets just say Liam tripped over a Nerf gun as he was walking backwards causing him to fall on his back and me to fall on top of him. But wait it gets worse. Just as we started to fall, Liam tried to steady us by trying to grab the counter. As luck would have it, things just couldn't go easily for us. Instead Liam knocked the pie I made for dessert causing it to go flying and land all over us. This prank I planned with right in so many ways but at the same time was a prank gone wrong. 

"Oops?" Liam said with a sheepish smile his eye begging for forgiveness with a hint of humor. 

"Oops? Really? Well I at least now I don't have to worry about you finding and getting into dessert before I served it" I said. 

"Well if it makes you feel better, it tastes really good" he said causing us both to laugh. 

Getting up we talked and laughed as we cleaned up the mess from everything before showering and getting ready to meet up with everyone later. Overall it was worth it and so much fun. I really am lucky to have an amazing husband who I can be serious with, but also have fun with and just have a great time with no matter what is going on. I truly love him.
