Chapter 1: Coming To Commandeer

She should have known.

He played her; used her.

Barbossa was the one that led the mutiny.

She gripped her pistol. She swore she would kill him.

She stood on the mast of a little fishing boat. A smile crept on her face. Land. Jack truly loved the sea but she needed to be on land once in a while.

Her eyes landed on three skeletons hanging and a sign next to it that said Pirates, Ye Be Warned! She took off her hat and placed it at her heart as a matter of respect. Her little boat was sinking. She got down from the mast. She tried with a bucket to get the water out but water just kept pouring in. She got back up on the mast. Her boat was sinking fast. Luckily she got to the dock before she could sink with it.

She was about to leave but a man with a book stopped her. "Hold Up There You!" She turned around to face the man. "It's a shilling to tie up your boat at the docks, and I shall need to know your name." Jack took out three shillings out of her pockets and gave them to the man. "Three shillings and you shall never forget the name." The man smiled at her, "Welcome To Port Royal, Miss Smith." and then he walked away. She saw a small bag of coins and picked them up. She shook the bag. Ah, the sweet sound of coins.

She got to the docks. She pasted some guards who were playing chess. She looked at the ships. The guards looked at her then back at the game then back at her. "Hey! Hold Up There You!" A guard named Mullroy and his buddy Murtogg stopped her and pointed their rifles at her. "You can't be back her, Miss." She looked at the guards. "I'm so sorry, but I want to take a ship for a little sail. Maybe That Ship!" She pointed at the Intercepter and smiled. The guards looked at her. Mullroy spoke up, "We can't let you take it! That's the Commodore's new ship and we have to guard it." "It's Gonna Catch All The Pirates In The Caribbean! It's The Fastest Ship In The Caribbean!" Murtogg added. She smiled at them. "I know a ship that is faster than that ship! The Black Pearl!" Murtogg laughed. "That's not a real ship!" Mullroy looked at him. "Yes It Is! I've seen it!" While the two fought, Jack saw the advantage to slip by them and onto the Intercepter. "You've seen a ship that's crewed by the damned and it's Captain is so evil, that Hell itself sat him back up?" Mullroy shook his head. "No, but I have seen a ship with black sails!" "Exactly! That's No Real Ship!" The two turned back to Jack but she was gone. They looked at the Intercepter and saw Jack on the wheel.

"Hey!" They ran up onto the ship. They pointed their guns at her. "Get Off This Ship! You Can't Be On Here!" Jack looked at them. "I'm so sorry, it's just a pretty boat. Ship!" She corrected herself. The two looked at each other then looked at her. "Who are you and what do you want with this ship?!" Mullroy asked. Jack took her hands off the wheel and stepped towards them. They tensed and gripped their rifles. She stopped. "My Name is Smith or Smithy if you'd like. I've come to commender a ship, gather a crew in Tortuga, pillage, plunder, and loot. Savvy?" The two looked at her, dumbfounded. "I think she's telling the truth." Murtogg looked at his buddy and Mullroy looked at him. "If she was telling the truth she wouldn't have told us."

"So back in England, I was on a mission for the queen and she-"

Jack's story was interrupted by a a girl falling in the water. Jack looked at the guards. "Are you going to save her?" Murtogg shook his head, "I can't swim!" Mullroy shook his head. Jack sighed. She gave her effects to the guards. "Hold these. Don't loose them!" She dived in the water. She grabbed the girl and tried to get her to the surface but the girl's dress was holding her back. Jack slipped off the dress and swam up to surface. She got her up on deck, where Murtogg and Mullroy were waiting. Murtogg put a finger to the girl's neck. "Not Breathing!" Jack pulled out a knife. "Move!" She cut the girl's corset top. The girl coughed up water. Jack saw a familiar gold coin around her neck. "Where did you get that?"
