A large group had formed around the two boys who were mindlessly swinging golf clubs about competing and showing off.
"Padfoot, it will only be so long until you smash a bloody window" Remus argued while Sirius stepped up to the ball
"Moony chill, I've got this all under control" Sirius replied smugly
"SIRIUS, SIRIUS" The crowd chanted as he brung the club up to hit the ball
Ping.
"Ah shit"
SMASH
"Told you so" Remus said matter-of-a-factually
The golf ball had managed to smash probably the worst one it could've, Professor McGonagall's
"Ha your in big trouble now Padfoot" James giggles while swinging his club round in his hand
"Prongs, piss off" Sirius replied bluntly
"SIRIUS BLACK" A voice echoed
The crowd of students created a small pathway where McGonagall swiftly walked through to reach the boys
"Minevera, what a nice surprise" Sirius said flustered
"Black am I right to think that you have just shattered my window to pieces" She said severely
"Well you see, when you put it like that it makes it sound worse than it actually is" He replied
"Do not joke with me" McGonagall said sharply
"I didn't mean to, the club slipped"
"2 weeks detention"
"Pahaha" James burst out laughing
"Find something funny Potter" McGonagall said
"Uh no" He replied
"You will join Black for a week of detention"
"Wait what?!" James said confused yet also startled
This time it was Sirius's turn to laugh
"And that is for breaking school rules Potter" McGonagall continued
"But that was never a rule?!"
"Well it is now" She added before turning away and strutting back inside the castle
"Don't say I didn't warn you" Remus chuckled making his way back to the castle alongside Peter who was quietly laughing to himself
(I'll be honest, I'm not sure how to feel about this one but I thought I would just publish it anyways, so here we are 😂)
