It was quite sometime later when Khushi's sniffing, crying and excited chatter had stopped and they had moved to the poolside for Khushi to eat her famous jalebis and Arnav to look at her adoringly and take her in his arms like he wanted to. Sitting on the recliner and settling her between his legs with her back to his chest, he kept his arms around her holding her closer. Khushi was panting heavily and by the speed with which she had started munching jalebis, he was about to withdraw when he felt her other free and hesitant hand atop his own.

Both of them felt an unknown peace take over at this newfound dynamic. It almost felt surreal to even think that after the torturous months of misunderstandings, hurtful words and accusations, their marriage could take such a beautiful turn. Khushi leaned back into Arnav's arms and he kissed at the top of her head indicating that he was thinking along the same lines. Amidst talking, teasing, and tantalizing touches, both of them witnessed the dawn in the early morning.

In the morning, Khushi emerged out of the bathroom and saw her husband taking down the beautiful flower strings that hung down their bed. 'What are you doing?' She screeched and he looked a little puzzled by her question, the answer to which was quite obvious. 'It's so beautiful.' She offered as a way of explanation looking around the room with a forlorn look and he chuckled at her innocence.

'Uh, Khushi? We don't want Hari Prakash to know what happened here last night, do we?' He asked with a mock horrified expression. Sure, he had gone ahead to make his room beautiful for his wife but there was no way in hell that he would let anyone else know that Arnav Singh Raizada was a closet romantic. It was his wife's blushing face and averted eyes that made him leave what he was doing and embrace her.

He smirked and then whispered in her ears. 'But let it be. Bed tou sab ke saamne torr hi chuke hain, what's the harm in letting them see a suhagraat setup?'

Arnav was satisfied with her scandalized gasp and then tinkling laughter that rang in the room brightening up his morning more than it already was. He looked at her shaking his head as she stumbled over something and gave him a sheepish look and was about to turn when he met his wife's mischievous eyes as she flung strings on him. Their laughter echoed in the room as they engaged in a childish war and ran behind each other giving a new meaning to the morning after.

New dawn, indeed.
