Announcement #1: The Future of My Profile

So, I've amassed 700 followers pretty much thanks to one single book that I wrote on a whim because I desired content for a game that had just come out, but there wasn't really any writing for it. So fuck it, I got to work. It, for some reason, blew up.

Needless to say that my follower base mostly consists of pokémon fans, people who want to read about the Sword and Shield characters.

Don't get me wrong, I love writing for pokémon. It's one of my favourite game series and has been with me for the past 19 years of my life. But the thing is, I don't want to just write pokémon pieces indefinitely, you feel? I have another fandom - well, a character from another fandom - that I write a lot about on other platforms to give myself a break from the pokémon fandom.

I really want to branch out to other fandoms that I like, and that's something that I've been saying for a while. I've put it off because I know that 90% of my followers are here for pokémon. Though, in the end, I write what I want to write because I like doing it.

I'm not a part of many popular fandoms, asides from maybe three, but I'd still like to do different things. But this is not me saying that I never want to write for pokémon ever again; I just want variety as to not get bored.

So, I'm going to say this right away, the five stories I had people vote on will most likely be the last five one-shots that I will write for Sword and Shield for a while. So, as a reminder, there would be a story for Piers, Raihan, Bede, Allister and Hop left.

Afterwards, my main focus would be my Bede X Reader book called 'Hoodlum', which is a full-on book and not just a one-shot. With the planning I've done, it seems to be going for 15 chapters, though it may be more depending on whether I decide to add more events in the timeline.

So, what do I want to do after that?

Well, I'd definitely love to do more one-shot books for other fandoms. I've made up my mind on at least two.

The first one is for My Hero Academia because I fucking love the characters and universe.

The second would be for Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss. They wouldn't necessarily be related to the canon timeline of the shows, mostly because there's so little to go off about, especially for Hazbin Hotel. But I trust that I can write my own plots without having to rely on re-telling entire episodes, with the only difference being an OC plopped in the middle of it all that only really adds a few dialogue lines here and there.

Other things I like are mostly video game-related, but I do like Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, Death Note, Supernatural, and Hetalia, but we'll see if I end up doing anything for one of those.

I've gotten a few suggestions from you guys, and the main one that stood out to me was Danganronpa, so I'll probably be checking that out at some point.

I'm still open to know about what kind of fandoms you guys are into. So tell me what kind of content you guys are thirsting for, and I might check some out.

I will say right away that I won't do any one-shots with real people like band members and Youtubers. It feels... off to write about real people who have their own personal lives. And fuck the Creepypasta fandom. I am not picking up a pen to write about Jeff The Killer and Co. ever again. I know anime like Naruto and Code Geass are pretty popular, but I could never get into them, honestly. No matter how much I forced myself.

Lastly, I may port my Lucas Baker X Reader one-shots, headcanons and ficlets that I've got scattered around Tumblr and Ao3. Just to reach more people, in case there are other Lucas hoes lurking about.

So, hopefully, some of you guys would still like to stick around, even when I start doing new things! As I said, it won't be goodbye forever to pokémon pieces on my part; I may still pop up and do a one-shot or write a book for - I dunno - Raihan or something. Plus, with Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl and Legend: Arceus coming up, I'll probably want to write for those when they come out!

Anyways, thanks for hearing me out. 'Til next time!
