Harder To Breathe - Chapter Four

Mel P.O.V  

"I wanna meet ya meet ya meet ya there this time i'll stay" Rita Ora's "Meet Ya" (amazing song btw) started blaring through my Samsung S3. "Who the heck is calling me this early in the morning?" I questioned looking at the time and seeing that it was 3:30. How the heck did I sleep that long? Well I mean we did get home from the party at like 4:30. I got up and looked over at Kaylannie who was texting on her phone.  

"Goodmorning Gorgeous" she said peeking around her phone and smiling.  

"Morning" I said in a gruffy man tone.  

"Eww, you sound like a dude when you wake up" she said laughing  

"Shut up. How long you been up? What we doing today?" I questioned  

"We all been up since like 1:30. But Iman & Kaci went to go pick up some medicine and food. As for what were doing today I don't know. Maybe we can go out for lunch it's supposed to be pretty cool today." She said getting up and going to her closet. (Outfits in External Link)

An Hour Later--  

We walked out the house on our way to lunch. And we all hopped in the car and put on Ready Or Not by Bridgit Mendler as we drove into town. We got to this place right next to the pier and decided to eat then go to the beach. We were ordering our food when my phone vibrated.  

WesWes - D-Mula !  

Me - Waddup WesWes (:  

WesWes - Nothing w/ Drew & Keaton probably about to go skate or something. We still up for later on?(;  

Me - Oh you mean after you have a little meeting with your boo boo then yea were still on(:  

WesWes - Aha, she's not my boo boo Mel, you are.    

Me - Woah Wes we just met and your already declaring titles? (;  

Wes - Nah I was just playing....  

Me - Yep sure. Well I'll text you when I'm on my way home <3  

Wes: Alright beautiful (:  

He made my heart freaking melt. Like why? Why does he do that? I couldn't get in too deep with him because I don't want to mess anything up because I'm pretty damn good with doing that. I can never keep a guy because I start to push them away or they just want the p and I wasn't finna give it up to anyone that easily. But with Wes I didn't know if he genuinely liked me or was just covering it up so he can get what he wants and leaves.  

Wes' P.O.V  

I sat there re-reading Mel and I's texts. She made me feel all gushy and shit and all she has to say is HI. I'm not really into that love shit especially after Traciee and I broke up. I feel like I'll just get screwed over again and I wasn't down with that.  

"Aye Wes. Stop daydreaming about Melanie and go get your board and stuff so we can go surfing" Drew said  

"Shut up bro. Nobodys daydreaming about anyone." I said  

"So why is there drool rolling down your chin?" he said then I cautiously rubbed my chin but it was nothing there and he burst out laughing.  

"Yo, your dumb bro get out!" I said getting up and pushing him out my room so I can get dressed.  

15mins later --  

"So Keaton, waddup with you and Kaci?" I asked him as he peered down at his phone  

"Oh nothing really. She's cool" he replied smiling.  

"Mhmm. 'She's cool'" Drew stated mimicking him  

"Shut up Drew! What about you and Iman? You were deff all over her. We heard you singing to her last night." Keaton said getting out the car and grabbing his board.  

"That's because y'all are creepers man. I don't mind saying how I feel about Iman. She's a cool ass chick and I actually see her sticking around for awhile" he finished

"Well im glad for you man now lets head out!" Keat said patting Drews back then sprinting towards the water.  

Mel's P.O.V  

"Omg im going to die. Omg. Omg. Omg" Iman yelled as she attempted to surf. We decided to be more 'adventurous' and try our luck out in surfing.  

"Calm down nigga. We got this, see I'm doing it!" I said smiling before falling face first into the water. "Ahaaaaaaa bitch!" Kaci said surfing then falling too.  

These hoes were too much. We tried surfing for like another 5minutes until Kay said something. "Y'all, aren't those your boo boos?" she said pointing to 3 guys running towards the ocean.  

"Hmm it is!" Kaci said grinning hella hard.

"Dang Kaci put your teeth back in your mouth" Iman said and we all sat there on our surfboards laughing. I looked up just as Wes looked in our direction and my heart fluttered. He smiled and started walking towards us as me and the girls got out the water.  

"Are you stalking me now?" I asked smirking. "When did you start surfing?" he asked "Today. We thought it'd be cool" I said. "You want me to help you learn?" "Sure." It seemed like the day went on forever between Wes touching my hips and sending electric shocks through my body each time. After like 3 hours he said he had to go because he told Mini-Demi he'd come over around 4. I was lowkey jealous but I couldn't let it show .. or is it because I didn't want it to show? I didn't mention that Mini-Demi and I lived right across the street from one another because I wanted to surprise him.

"Well, I'll see you once you leave Alexia's house?" I asked as I walked him to the car.

"Yea, I have a surprise for you."

"I don't like surprises." I said and he looked at me.

"Which makes it way better."

"Alright well just text me and tell me when your coming out of Alexia's house. Not when your in your car got it?"

"Yes. I got it mom," he replied pouting at me which made me melt.

"Okay see you later WesWes" I said walking away & turning around noticing he was still staring and I winked.
