Hanamiya stared at the front of her desk, on it lay a rather small pile of crumpled papers not for the documents needed to complete and approve the subnautical expedition to the sunken city of Mahri but rather a letter to address to a 'friend' or at least that's what Hanamiya liked to call him.

She looked at the finished draft as she read through the contents.

To Shinn Vesna

So we somehow forgot to add each other as friends in-game so I will now be forced to write this all to you should our Magi's Companion ability to communicate interfere.

Now the reason I'm informing you this as a countermeasure should something were to happen to me and my expedition crew on board the Titanic, yes I kid you not the first and earliest forms of Submarines that we the Marked ones have created for underwater exploration is called The Titanic, and it is possible that we may not be able to communicate starting on Oshkom 21st to Kromozo 21st, though that is just an estimation should I remain unable to contact you past the expected date would mean that we are still in Mahri and is preoccupied on our discoveries within it.

As such I wish you good luck to both of us. I'll see you soon.

Hanamiya.

"This should do it," Hanamiya sighed in a low voice as she looked at the letter. The door opened revealing both Yi and Reina.

"Have you finished writing the letter?" Reina asked her.

"Yeah," Hanamiya said as she folded it and had it prepared to be sent. "No idea why I'd do it though but I still went through."

"That reminds me," Reina asked as Hanamiya handed it to a servant and had it prepared to be sent to Luxenheim. "Why do you still want to use the Astralta as a means of Teleportation when we have Spatial Magic for it?"

Spatial Magic, in layman's terms it was Teleportation Magic as it requires a person to fully grasp the area on where they are headed, but that's the catch, to fully teleport themselves there they have to be able to know the very dimensions and details of Point B if they went to teleport from Point A.

"Well yeah that's true but to fully learn it requires a long time to master," Hanamiya explained. "However what I'm planning to use for the Astralta is essentially a faster alternative of it."

"Plus I'm thinking of other ways to utilize the Astralta aside from teleportation," Hanamiya added with a shrug. "Hopefully the Magister's Codex could answer that."

"Speaking of which I heard that there's also another book similar to that," Yi spoke up as she was busy looking through the books as Hanamiya and Reina talked.

"Something called the Ars Arcana."

"Ars Arcana?" Hanamiya asked with a mixture of confusion and intrigue.

"It is said to have been a Special Tome that was written by Saint Indoril Pyreburner himself, who took on the title of Grand Caster," Yi explained. "It is said that St. Indoril was basically the Father of Magic and that book is his Personal Spell Book."

"But it's just a myth though," Reina chuckled. "Even if that was true, should it fall into the wrong hands like say a powerful Mage. Then it's the Sanguinomicon all over again."

Hanamiya shuddered, she wasn't present when that happened but she had heard of the story behind it. A powerful Book containing various Blood Rituals and Blood Magic and it is said that a Disgraced Mage had Stolen it and gravely injured the keeper of that tome and since then many guilds are searching all of Tritoth to hunt and kill the said mage and recover the book, with an even higher bounty.
