Karl hummed a random tune as he walked back to the house he shared with his fiancé's, he slowly opened the door to reveal Sapnap, making scrambled eggs on the stove
"Hey Karl!" He whispered before motioning to the couch where Quackity was asleep. "I was thinking we have breakfast for dinner today, mainly because eggs are the only thing I can cook" he chuckled as Karl wrapped his arms around Sapnaps neck from behind hugging him
"I think that sounds great, I can set the table then we can wake Q up by pouring water on him" he giggled at the idea and Sapnap grinned. He finished cooking the eggs and when the timer went off he opened the oven to reveal bacon he had cooked as well. Karl then went to work setting the table, placing 3 plates and a fork for each person, for the napkins he used one purple napkin, a orange one, and a blue one. When he finished he returned to the kitchen "I'm sorry I left for a long time" Karl pulled his hoodie up, looking at the floor "I-I just want to make sure I write all of this down, It's my job to know these stories and I'm so close to cracking the code on something I can feel it" he bounced on his feet, worried as he looked up at Sapnap. Sapnap just gave Karl a sad smile
"that's alright, I just hope you remember us more than those stories" he gave him a kiss on the forehead before pouring cups of water for all three of them, setting them at the table before filling up a fourth and motioning for Karl to follow him to the living room, he took Sapnaps hand, trying to use the contact as a form of apology and Sapnap turned, around to face him, "I promise it's ok Karl, now let's soak him" he grinned, the moment of vulnerability gone. Karl put one of his hands on the cup and they tossed it together, Quackity waking up with a jolt.
"What the FUCK GUYS" his eyes widened as he sat up "that water is freezing! Oh hi Karl" he stood up "Dont think just because your back I won't still whoop your ass for getting me soaked" Karl giggled
"I promise I promise..... it was Sapnaps idea" he grinned as he saw Sapnaps face change to one of betrayal as he quickly bolted from the spot he was standing
"KARL YOU DICKHEAD" Sapnap screeched as Quackity started chasing Sapnap around the house, Karl just laughed, realizing how much he missed his boyfriends. After a couple minutes Karl heard Sapnap and Quackity laughing and the sound of running water, then they emerged, Sapnaps hair soaking wet, both of them grinning, Karl rushed to get Sapnap a towel before he could sit down at the table, Quackity using it to dry Sapnaps hair before giving him a kiss on the head "That should remind you not to try pranking me again" he stuck his tongue out  as they all sat at the table.
Starting to eat.
"This is really good Sap!" Karl started shoveling the food into his mouth, Quackity laughed
"Calm down man your going to choke and die" Quackity laughed as Sapnap just smiled, the dinner was filled with conversation of how Sapnap had started a flower garden in the backyard, Quackity was eager to give a gift to Karl that he had found when our for a walk, he handed him a small box hastily wrapped Karl lifted the lid to see 3 bottles of nail polish
"Yeah I just thought you would look good wearing it and i don't know I thought you would like it I'm sorry if it's stupid I just thought-" Quackity started to ramble before Karl grabbed his face in his hands, the 2 wedding rings he wore cold against Quackitys scared face
"Thank you" Karl smiled "I missed you both so much, I'm sorry I had to go, I-I promise I won't leave for that long ever again" he held his hand out and Quackity and Sapnap put theirs on top of his after a minute, Karl then leaned in and kissed the top of their hands, their little sign as a promise to each other. After dinner Sapnap yawned, Quackity whispered to Karl "he hasn't slept well since you left" and Karl frowned
"Sap cmon let's go to bed, I'm really tired please" Karl tugged on Sapnaps sleeve, lying in hopes that would convince Sapnap to go sleep.
"Alright, if that's what you want Karl" he smiled, standing up and Quackity waved to them
"I just took a nap before SOMEONE woke me up, have a good night, love you guys" he waved before Karl shook his head and made grabby hands and Quackity sighed with a smile on his face, getting up to give Karl and Sapnap both a kiss before they left to go to the bedroom. When there, Sapnap asked
"Do you want to sleep together tonight? Or separate beds?" The 3 has bought 3 different small beds that if they wanted alone time they could slide to the side but when wanted they could push the beds together to cuddle, currently they were all pushed together, Sapnap and Quackity waiting for Karl to come back and fill the empty space.
"Can we sleep together?" Sap just smiled and nodded
"Of course" he got into the bed and Karl joined him, the 2 snuggling together. Sapnap soon fell asleep, snoring softly and Karl stayed awake, focusing on his breathing to remind himself that his boyfriend was still alive and well.
Out in the living room Quackity was sitting on the couch, his legs outstretched, counting the scars that littered his body, he had turned it into a sort of game, giving each one nicknames to remind himself how he survived them, the majority named something related to his ex-husband one particular memory made itself present, the countless nights when Schlatt would get drunk and start yelling, on those nights he would often go to the bathroom, falling asleep in the bathtub until his ex-husband would knock on the door, crying and begging to be forgiven, one night The former president was sober enough to pull out his keys and open the bathroom, Quackity had already fallen asleep at that time and was awoken with the sound of shattering glass and the smell of blood. He shivered at the reminder and moved on, bacon, oven, trip, glass, drinking, escape... The list went on and soon, like how counting sheep can be comforting to some, the man fell asleep, all be it not a good one but sleep none the less.

In the morning Karl woke up to blink away the sleep from his eyes and see Sapnap using him as a teddy bear. He smiled and gently moved himself out of his fiancé's arms, he needed to sleep more, Karl decided, as he walked out to the living room he saw Quackity asleep on the couch and took a photo before gently shaking him "Hey Q mistier it's time to get up" Quackity groaned and just used his beanie to cover his eyes, Karl grinned getting an idea as he took the hat off of Quackitys head, bolting outside Quackity getting up and chasing after him.

"I'm going out to water the garden!" Badboyhalo hummed as he walked outside *it's so nice being able to live next to my son and his boyfriends, Karl and Quackity can be a handful at times but Sapnaps eyes light up whenever he talks about them* he smiled before opening the door to see Karl being chased by Quackity who was wearing a blanket as a cape.
"KARL GIVE ME MY FUCKING HAT RIGHT NOW OR ELSE"
"Ahhaha I don't think so! Or else what?!"
"YOUR SLEEPING OUTSIDE TONIGHT BRO JUST GIVE ME THE FUCKING BEANIE"
"IMPOSSIBLE YOU COULD NEVER GET RID OF ME! YOU LOVE ME TOO MUCH!"

*I'll water the garden later* Bad walks back inside. Back with Quackity and Karl, Karl had tripped and Quackity triumphantly picked up the hat, putting it back on, before going back inside he called out
"I'll make breakfast today!" Karl just laid down on the grass, he started to feel dizzy and his stomach plummeted as his vision started to fade, he tried to call out for Quackity, for Sapnap, for Bad, anyone, but he couldn't move and closed his eyes, waking up in a completely different world.
