I Started writing this fanfic when light novel is chapter 333 so if some characters changed don't blame me.
Arthur's pov:- After talking with mom we made our way towards the dining room where dad and Ellie are sitting on chairs
"Arthur we want to talk to you about something," dad said.
"About what dad," I asked
"About participating in war," dad said.
A chill ran down through my spine in fear are they planning to fight in war again?
"Arthur your mom and I discussed and came to an agreement that neither of us nor Ellie will participate in this war" dad said.
"Really," I said with a smile of relief on my face.
"Yes, we've realized that this isn't even the war that we can fight. fighting with deity's is like doing suicide for normal humans like us" dad said.
I wrapped my arms around dad and said.
"Thank you for understanding me dad and don't worry we will win this war," I said.
"Yes, we know we will we know you can turn the tide of this battle that's why we are not participating because we know that the only weakness you have is us and the enemy can use us against you," mom said.
"No you are not my weakness you are my strength," I said.
Ellie stood up in front of me "Although I don't really approve of mom and dad decision I understand from where they are coming just promise us one thing that you won't do anything reckless, If you tried to become the hero and come back dead I'll kill you"
My parents and I just laughed after hearing what Ellie said.
"You heard her promise us that you won't do anything reckless and come back to us alive," mom said.
"Yes mom, Ellie I promise I won't do anything reckless and always come back to you alive," I said.
"Don't ever forget that you have a family that loves you and will always be waiting for you" dad said.
"Yes dad, and Ellie I know you want to fight like a soldier but i want to fight you to protect our family to protect mom and dad when I'm not around ok," I said.
"Hey, why Ellie needs to protect me," dad asked.
"Oh, dad so you didn't notice huh Ellie tell that what stage is your mana core at," I said with a proud grin.
"Dark orange" Ellie said scratching the back of her head.
"Holy shit" dad said with her mouth wide open.

After talking some time dad, mom and Ellie fall asleep I didn't need to sleep much so I started roaming around that's when I see madam astera patrolling around I made my way towards her
"Hello madam astera," I said.
"Hello, General Arthur," she said.
"No need for formality madam astera," I said.
"So aren't you even tired after wiping out alacryan forces," she said.
"Actually I don't need too much sleep," I said.
" Thank you," she said.
"For what, "I asked.
"For saving me that day," she said.
"No need to thank me I'm thankful to you that you understand my intentions and helped me by taking Tess and Nyphia out through the portal," I said.
" No I didn't understand your intentions I didn't know that you were committing suicide just to make us safely escape," she said.
"I don't know what to say I just want to save her that time nothing else comes to my mind but just a single thought do everything in my power to save her so I did," I said.
After few minutes of silence
"She was devastated," she said.
I didn't understand what she just said so I asked "What".
"She was devastated after that she thought she lost everyone she loved her parents was dead and then your sacrificed left her completely devastated for few days she just cried and sleep," she said.
I couldn't do anything just clenched my fist I have some idea of what her condition might be and I'm the reason for her condition even now I just want to find her wrapped my arms around and say that I'm alive and I love her.
"Sorry madam astera I think need some time alone," I said.
I moved towards the stream then I see Regis and Sylvie sitting there
"What are you doing here," I said.
"Don't talk like that we both just felt what you felt and how many times do we need to tell you that it isn't your fault for what happened to her?" Regis said.
"How can I accept that when you and me both know that I'm the bridge I'm the cause that all of this is happening because my relationship with her she becomes the compatible vessel to revive Cecilia if didn't reincarnated in this world nothing like this would be happening," I said I didn't even notice I clenched my fist this hard that blood starts drooping on the ground
"Papa how can you accept us to believe that if you didn't born in this world that doesn't stop agrona from attacking dicathen and I also would have been by his side helping him as his daughter, mama would have been a slave of some rich noble so don't say things like that " Sylvie said with tears in her eyes
"And I wouldn't have been born in the first place so don't say things like that we will save didn't I say you I'm going to kick asses of some asuras to save your princess, " Regis said.
I took out the orb from my storage rune.
"You want to do this after hearing us you are a masochist," Regis said.
"Yes Regis is right You don't need to do this papa, " Sylvie said.
I know why they don't want me to use the orb because whatever the orb show it will only give me mental trauma but I don't know I just can't stop myself so Holding it gingerly between my index finger and thumb, I pushed aether into it and thought, Tessia.
Mist swirled across the surface of the stone, but nothing else happened.
Cecilia.
