CHAPTER 33

For context I gave the café a name, it's now called 'Room 4066'(I never realized I didn't actually give it one.)

Sighing to yourself, you laid sprawled on your bed as your eyes faced the ceiling. A million thoughts clouded your mind preventing you from falling asleep.

'He already knows so what's the issue now?' You think to yourself as you bring a pillow and shove it over your face.

Screaming into the pillow, you feel a bit better after but the thought that's been pestering you ever since that text was still there

'What now?'

Thinking more about it, how would you even face Suna tomorrow? Surely it wouldn't be awkward...right?

"Suna, why do you have this big of an impact on me?" You groan out while flipping over on your stomach.

(Y/N's) POV:

When did you have me falling for you?

Was it perhaps during the first time we hung out? Maybe it was during all the times we spent out and just acting like regular teenagers together. Possibly it was during school or when we would walk home together.

No, that's not it.

The more I think about it, I started falling for you the moment we both spoke to each other.

Suna you've had me subconsciously falling for you from the very beginning. Just the way you even bothered to make an effort in getting to know me makes my heart beat faster.

It was something so simple, you only asked me one simple question and from there our friendship grew.

You're somehow so understandable and I know I can always turn to you whenever I need it. Maybe one day I'll understand but right now I don't know how you've been so patient with me, but I'm grateful to have found someone like you.

Keiji's death took a toll on me. I was a little lost and honestly felt hopeless before meeting you. In all honesty I wholeheartedly believed I would always be alone to deal with my internal problems. But I've come to learn that the darkness has a way of showing you exactly what you need to see, and I believe it showed and led me to you.

It's beautiful really; How two individuals could grow such a strong liking for each other. The connection two souls share together is like pure bliss.

I've felt this connection before and I'm lucky to get to experience it again with you.

Suna, you're worth taking the risk i've been so scared to take. I don't even want to imagine losing you, but reality always has different plans.

I'm not taking any chances, so tomorrow I want to take the lead.

End of (Y/N's) POV

A rush of satisfaction surges through (Y/N) as she felt  content with where her feelings for Suna stand.

The effects of thinking so intently and the late night hour soon took a toll on the girl as she felt her eyes begin to feel drowsy. Slowly but surely she fell off into a deep slumber. The girl ended up falling asleep with a small smile gracing her lips.

"SUNA HURRY IT'S ABOUT TO RING!" You yelled out while sprinting through the halls.

"CHILL I DROPPED MY BAG!" He yells back while picking up the said bag quickly.

The two of you were currently running through the halls in order to get to class before the bell rang. Initially you were both on time like usual, but somehow you lost track of time at the convenience store which led you to your current situation.

"Thank the lord." You say while trying to catch your breath as you walk into the class.

"We made it with one minute to spare." He says with a tired smile.

Taking a seat beside Suna, you wait for your teacher to begin today's lesson. It honestly felt like time flew by as you sat and listened attentively while writing down notes for later. Though you couldn't deny that there was a weird tension between you and Suna. It was a noticeable feeling you felt from the moment he came and picked you up from your house earlier.

Of course he greeted you like he always would, but after that the both of you spoke very few words to each other. It was like you both were complete strangers as an awkward silence fell upon the both of you.

This behavior followed you to school as Suna could barely form a sentence without looking away or having a light blush coat his face.

You found it quite amusing, but the same thing could be said about you.

Anytime you would try and talk to Suna you would either stumble or fidget with your fingers.

'It's like I don't even know him.' You thought to yourself while looking down at your desk.

Taking a deep breath, you slouched in your chair while averting your gaze from the front board to the world beyond the window.

The world felt and looked gloomy to anyone who took the time out of their day to look outside. The clouds had covered the sun preventing any light to seep through while the natural vibrant colors of nature dulled down. It was strange how your current emotions were extremely similar to the atmosphere of the outside world.

Though it was only because of how nervous you felt about how today might play out.

'What if he rejects me or what if I offend him?' You thought to yourself as the feeling of anxiety became noticeably stronger the more you thought within your head.

You internally groan as you begin to overthink.

Resting your head on the desk, it's almost as if all your worries flushed away as your attention turned to the green eyed boy beside you.

He looked so peaceful in his own little world as he carefully listened to the man blabbering on about who knows what. The way Suna would scrunch up his nose after misspelling a word made your heart falter a bit. It was small moments like this that you're reminded who Suna is.

And if as on que, the clouds that once blocked the vibrant rays of the sun peacefully moved away; Allowing for the light to grace the once gloomy world.

Your head rises from the desk, and you feel all your anxieties slip away. Placing your full attention back on the board, you begin writing down all the information you'd missed. Your mind at ease knowing exactly what you were going to do.
