Kitsune and Neko

Chapter-10

-On the cliff across the Akatsuki Hideout.

"Ugh, how long do we have to wait for them?" An irritated Kitsune asked.

"Dobe, chill. They'll be here." Neko said calmly.

They had been waiting for about five minutes for the other team and Kakashi to arrive. Before leaving they wrote a letter to Kakashi giving him a piece of Kitsune's clothing and asking him to get rid of his useless team and follow the trio. Kitsune and Neko trusted Kakashi to a certain extent and wanted him to be their backup in case they ran into too much trouble. And Neko had also sent out one of his cats to lead the team from Konoha to them. They were waiting for at least one of the two to arrive as they knew that dealing with the akatsuki was not going to be simple.

"Well, I hope I am not late." A smiling Kakashi appeared behind them.

"Kakashi you are always late." Pakun deadpanned."Well, I have done my job of locating them so I'll be off. See you later!" Pakun said before disappearing in a poof.

"Alright, now let's go kick some Akatsuki butt and save Gaara!"Kitsune said, clearly excited.

"Stop acting so childish Anija, the Konoha team is approaching; I thought you were a sensor." Suzume deadpanned. She still couldn't understand how her brother could act like a wise leader one second and an immature child the other. After a while team 10 appeared with Neko's cat Kaito

"Team 10 reporting. What is the plan? Kakashi, where's your team?" Asuma asked. Team ten, except Choji who was wearing his clan armour as it could expand with him, were wearing the standard Leaf Shinobi uniforms with the jonin and Chunin flak jackets.

"Left them in Suna, they're not skilled enough to handle this." Kakashi replied with a bored expression.

"The cave on the opposite side of this cliff is one of the Akatsuki's hideout. It has a seal at the entrance. To break the seal, I will need to make another seal which I will place on top of it. After that, Ino-chan, Neko, Suzume, Kakashi-san and I will enter the hideout. I am sensing some ninjas nearby, so Asuma-san, Choji and Shikamaru it would be best if you took care of them, should they interfere with our mission. That's the plan" Kitsune said.

Everyone took their positions and those who did not know much about Kitsune, were impressed by his ability to formulate a perfect plan within seconds. The five rushed to the cave with a boulder blocking its entrance and a big seal placed on it. It had the word 'Forbidden' written on it in Kanji.

"Five Seal Barrier, a level 8 barrier." Kitsune said, pulling out a paper and a brush and making a seal. About ten seconds later he made a similar seal with the word 'Permitted' written on it in Kanji."Five Seal Barrier: Pass!" he said placing his seal tag on top of the Akatsuki's seal tag. He then made another small seal and placed it on the boulder blocking the entrance to the Akatsuki Hideout. Within seconds the boulder broke down into smaller stones allowing all of the ninjas to enter the hideout.

"Ninja Art: Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Suzume said throwing a shuriken and multiplying it into a thousand at the two akatsuki and the rest of the Akatsuki holograms. The colourful holograms disappeared as soon as they came in contact with Shuriken and the two defended themselves from the barrage of shuriken.

"You have some nerve disturbing us like that, un. We had almost broken the seal!" Deidara cried out loud.

"Deidara let's finish this quickly, I don't like to keep people waiting and especially not Leader-sama." Sasori said taking off his cloak revealing a puppet of a man on all fours with a scorpion tail.

"I don't fight well in closed spaces." Deidara put his hands into his clay pouches and started moulding clay. "Well I guess I'm going to get out of here." he said moulding his clay into a bird. He then sat on it and flew away.
