AHHHH WHY DID I SAY THAT", i thought to myself, while hiding my face with my hands. " What did you just say? " , Rafael asked, with a calm yet excited voice.
"Ah! Uhm, nothing! Forget it! I'll just go! ", I quickly responded, shuttering a bit in the last part.

As I grabbed my phone, which i put on my 'friend's' desk and walked towards the door. "WAIT", Rafael shouted. I immediately turned around and saw him shake.

"Are those... TEARS?! " I thought and started to feel horrible. Did i just make my best friend cry? I couldn't believe myself. I made him cry. Why did i even think it was a good idea to confront him?
I quickly ran over to him and hugged him, or more like jumped on him. And as a result, we both fell on the ground.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so so-" "Hey, it's fine. ", he said, cutting me off and putting my face in his hands.

Tears started streaming down my face. " I'm so sorry. I ruined everything. Our friendship is completely ruined. I'm so sorry", i cried, clenching onto my friend.

"Hey, look at me. It's fine, alright? It's fine, everything is fine. ", he said in a calm voice. He hugged me even tighter. " You know, you aren't the only one who thought about it. "

"Wait what? Is he being serious? Is he joking? He has to be. Right? There's no way... Is he for real? Am i dreaming? Is he just saying this to stop me from crying? This is a joke. Right? How- I don't believe him. "

So many thoughts went through my head. I had to be dreaming. I couldn't believe what i just heard.

"Hey, look at me. It's alright. You know why? Because....
"I love you."
