Meg's POV
"kanina kapa parang may iniisip, sino ba yan?" Tanong sakin ng kakambal ko.
Nagkibit balikat naman ako bago tunggain ang bote ng San Mig na iniinom namin.
"Im just wondering, would Amanda let our kuya do his job, you know... being the father of their children" I said.
Kanina pa ako binabagabag ng tanong na yan sa isip ko.
And where did that question came from? It came from what I saw earlier.
When kuya told me to get the pouch of terno pajamas and undergarments on ate Mira's room, I had a hard time looking for it, because its deep with in the cabinet, and I need to place back the clothes that I removed properly before proceeding to kuya.
And what surprised me there is that, kuya is combing Aia's hair like he is enjoying it... scratch that, he's really enjoying it! I saw his face, its brilliant and full of happiness, real happiness the genuine one.
I can see in kuya's gesture that he really longing for her daughters affection and attention, thats why I agree to let Aia stay here for awhile. Alam ko na nagsisinungaling si kuya sa rason na baka hanapin ng kumidnap kay Aia si Aia kaya dinala niya ito rito pansamantala.
Because knowing kuya, I know Marius now is on his way to hell.
"I think yes, but it will take a long time before she agrees to that. Kita mo naman kanina kung gaano siya kagalit kay kuya" sagot naman sa akin ni Gem.
"Wait! Teka nga, bat mo nga pala naisip yang tanong na yan?" Tanong pa niya.
Umayos naman ako ng upo at kumuha ng chicharon na pinupulutan namin bago sabihin ang nakita ko.
"Earlier, when he ordered me to get some stuff on ate Mira's room, and when Im about to handed it to him, I saw his room's door slightly open so I sneak my ears so that I can see them. And they didnt notice that Im there because they're talking like a real father and daughter though, they are real father and daughter."
"I saw how kuya's face lifts up everytime Aia calls him papa, and the smile he wears earlier, ngayon ko nalang uli yon nakita. It's been a decade since that smile appeared on his lips"
"And thats when he still the legal stalker of Amanda?" Gem interrupted me so I nod.
"Poor Kuya Rhyz, I really do hope that one day, Amanda would find forgiveness in her heart, naaawa na ako kay kuya, he's been through a lot this past years, he nearly become insane of Amanda's suddenly disappeared." I said.
"Yeah youre right, he didnt even entertain any girls in his life, he's been loyal to Amanda for almost a decade!" Gem exclaimed.
And I chuckle, "celibate too"
And we both chuckle on that.
I really do hope that One day, Amanda will forgive kuya and us too. I just hope that, that one day is within this year. I dont want to see kuya be miserable again for longing for his family.
Garrett's POV
I'm sleeping peacefully when I felt something on my tummy so I opened my eyes to see what is it, and I froze when I saw who is it.
"What are you doing there baby?" I asked my daughter who's sitting on my tummy.
"Your alarm clock already rang papa, and you didnt wake up so I sit here so you can feel my weight" she said with a smile and lean forward to kiss my cheek, "by the way, Good Morning Papa!" She said.
Those gestures of Aia, it really makes my mood lift and my heart melt. Baka nahimatay na siguro ako kung lahat ng anak ko ay gagawin ang ganoong bagay, pero alam ko namang imposible ng mangyare ang mga iyon.
"Ohhhhh!" I just said then sat, still Aia is sitting on my lap now.
"Im sorry baby, I am just tired from yesterday that I didnt hear my alarm rang, also I have a good night sleep because Im beside you" I said.
My mouth sometimes doesnt stop what he wants to say. I just realize what I've said when Aia looks at me frowning.
"What?" She asked me.
And I just comb her hair and kissed her forehead. "Nothing. Good Morning too baby!" I said and then carry her out of the bed.
She wants to get down but I wont let her. I want to feel how a dad carries his child. Gusto kong maranasan kung ano ang pakiramdam non, na buhat mo ang anak mo.
And for me, I feel happy. Mabigat ang anak ko pero nakayanan ko naman ang buhatin siya.
"Papa, put me down po! I can walk!" She said and I keep on carrying her until we reached our kitchen and I deposited her in the sink.
"Go wash, hindi mo pa abot ang sink kaya mag ingat ka dyan baka malaglag ka" paala ko sakanya at sumunod naman ito.
Nag toothbrush ito, at naghilamos, same as what I did. Magkatabi kameng naghilamos at nag sipilyo.
"papa youre not using a mouth wash?" She asked me.
"Im only using a mouth wash if im in a hurry, but now im not in a hurry so I didnt use mouth wash, why do you ask?" I asked her. And she juat shrugged and open his arms for me, gesturing that I carry her to go down out of the sink.
So I did.
"I just ask, because Daddy Gio always using a mouth wash, and his reason is to that he wants his breath good so that mommy will allow him to kiss her"
And on what Aia said, I felt something tugged my heart. Imagining Gio kissing my Amanda and my Amanda responds on his kisses, its like the blood in my heart run away.
"Papa?"
Bumalik lang ako sa tamang wisyo ng tawagin ako ng anak ko.
"Y-yes baby?"
"Bakit bigla pong nagdilim ang mukha niyo? Nagalit po ba kayo sa dahilan ni Daddy Gio kaya siya nag ma mouth wash?"
Yeah! I want to say Yeah! But I dont want my daughter to know that I hate their daddy.
"No baby, no I just remember the man who kidnapped you" I said.
Actually, thats not what Im gonna say but thats what my mouth said.
"Ohhh that man, he pretends to be my real dad so that I will hate my true father!" She said like he's a guy who wants a revenge.
I think that attitude came from me right?
"Yeah, that bastard----, oouucchhh! Im sorry!" Sabe ko nalang ng pitikin ni Aia ang bibig ko.
How can I easily forget that their mom told them not to cuss?
"what breakfast do you want----"
"Good morning people!!" A loud voice echoed on the whole kitchen when Gem shouted.
"Good Morning tita?" It seems like Aia didnt recognize Gem again.
"It's Tita Gem baby--- I mean Aia, Im wearing an earring look---- wait what? Where is my earrings---" Gem was looking around the kitchen like she's looking for her earrings.
"You left that on the balcony earlier while were having a girl talk" Meg said and handed Gem the earrings she was looking for.
"OMG! My precious earrings! I missed you!!" Gem dramatically said.
