you're laying on your bed late at night.
you're facetiming your crush.
you're both really tired so you're not talking a lot.
soon you feel yourself slowly drifting off to sleep.
"yea i know,
what'd she tell you?"
you asks sleepily,
"wait are you asleep?"
you hear him ask.
you're not fully sleeping,
but you're almost asleep so you don't respond.
"alright see you tomorrow"
he says quietly
"you look pretty when you sleep"
he chuckles you feel butterflies in your stomach
"goodnight"
he whispers
as he ends the call.
