The hospital wing smelled of dirty socks and old ladies. Eretria hated being here.

The pain in her arm was fading as she looked down to examine it.

"Oh child I don't know what it is but whatever is causing you this pain is pretty resistant to most of my elixirs. Just try to take it easy for a few days and if it starts to flare up again just come back to visit."

Madame Pomfrey had only treated Eretria once before but she was such a kind woman.

"Thank you so much Madame Pomfrey."

Eretria sat up on her bed and ran her hand over her forearm. What could be causing her so much pain?

Heading to the Hufflepuff common room she kept thinking of reasons why she had been in so much pain. As her thoughts ran wild she was oblivious to her surroundings causing her to bump into Pandora.

"I'm so..sorry I'm a bit out of it." She trembled as she spoke. She didn't know why but Pandora had always made her so nervous.

"It's okay Destri. I heard you were in the hospital wing. Everything okay?"

Something in those sapphire eyes just made her lose all ability to speak.

"I..umm..My arm..I'm sorry I didn't join you for that walk!" She finally blurted out.

"Hey it's okay!" Eretria could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks as Pandora placed her hand on her shoulder "As long as you're feeling better I think I can forgive you. We can walk anytime." She flashed her a bright smile as she walked away.

Trying to regain feeling in her feet Eretria shook off her nervousness and continued to the common room.

The journey to the Hufflepuff Basement wasn't too bad. She approached the stack of barrels that concealed their common room and waved her wand which led her into a beautiful warm room.

One thing she loved about Hogwarts was the fact that someone had always made sure the students luggage was always put away.

This gave her the opportunity to just climb in bed and relax before classes began. She lay for a few minutes staring at the ceiling wondering what was going on with her. Before she knew it she was drifting off into a nice deep sleep.

Beautiful viridescent smoke surrounded her as she emerged into her dream world. The founder of Slytherin held out his hand to her and just as she went to grab it she fell. Holding her hand out still almost touching his fingertips Salazar disintegrated into a yellow dust.

Jerking out of her sleep she wiped the few beads of sweat that collected on her forehead.

She had this dreams many times before ever since the attacks at The Grand Ball.

"Eretria..." she could hear him call out to her but she would never reach his hand.

It killed her every time she woke because she knew she would never live up to her families Slytherin legacy. Her mother just told her she was a chain breaker and that she was special. Eretria had just felt defeated and humiliated.

Over the years she learned to accept it so she didn't understand why she kept having the dreams.

She crawled out of her bed and made her way into the common room

She crawled out of her bed and made her way into the common room. No one was around which wasn't too odd. Most of her fellow housemates preferred the outdoors to the bright yellow room that they called theirs.

It held this warm fuzzy feeling that Eretria wasn't quite fond of but she appreciated it.

"Air. I need some air.." she whispered to herself so she decided maybe she could take that walk.

Heading back to the Great Hall to find Pandora she ran into Scorpius again. He was frantically panicking as he tried running past her.

"Scorpius!! Wait!"

She shouted for him but he had already turned the corner and was gone from sight.

"What was up with him?" She thought to herself but she would find out soon enough as she entered a panic inside the Great Hall.
