Conclusion~
"Are you on our side now?"
Ano kaya itong iniisip ni Xavier? Anong balak niya? For sure he has something up his sleeves. He won't bother asking such question kung wala.
"Ms. Clardia, I think someone's approaching," mahinang sabi ni Sgt. Harvey.
"Wait, a little more time Sergeant. I should hear his reason."
"Just say 'yes' or 'no'. I'm not that patient." muling sambit ni Xavier.
"Y-Yes, Prince." narinig ko namang sagot ni Celeste.
"Then—"
"Sgt. Harvey, what are you doing there?" napalingon ako sa aking likuran ng marinig ang boses ni Mr. Lincoln. Nakatingin lang siya kay Sergeant at hindi nagbababa ng tingin sa'kin. Sinara ko nang dahan-dahan ang pinto.
"Lt. Neud ask me to guard the study, Mr. Lincoln." sagot ni Sergeant sa kanya.
"For what reason?"
"Not mentioned."
"Let me in."
"Give me a second, Mr. Lincoln. Lieutenant said that I should knock on the door thrice before I could open it." sabi ni Sergeant at tumango naman ni Mr. Lincoln.
Nakakapagtaka talaga, parang hindi niya ako napapansin. Kahit naman nakaharang sa'kin ang malaking pangangatawan ni Sergeant ay syempre mahahalata at mahahalata pa rin ang presensya ko. Pero sa pagkakataong ito, tila multo ako na hindi nakikita.
Sgt. Harvey turned around me. I shot him a gaze but, he didn't reciprocated my action.
"I made you invisible for a while, Ms Clardia. Abscond now." he said as he knocked on the door beside me.
"Really? That's great," tugon ko naman at ako na ang nagbukas ng pintuan.
"Ms. Clardia, no. It will only last for—" hindi ko narinig ang sasabihin ni Sergeant dahil diretso na 'ko pumasok sa loob.
I saw Xavier sitting on his throne, his elbow on the top of the table and the end of his fingers touching each other. In front of him standing, is Celeste who's playing her fingers. Lt. Neud is just beside her, standing as well.
Kasunod ko na rin pumasok sa loob si Mr. Lincoln. He roam his eyes around the room before fixing it to Xavier and bowing down.
"Prince," he said. Tumango sa kanya si Xavier and he positioned himself behind him. May binulong pa siya dito bago umayos ng tayo. Xavier roam his eyes as well then, look straight after.
"Where are we again? Right. If you're loyal to me now, as the General of Eros Kingdom, you should surrender everything you knew about Ursaminor. Cooperate with us to track them down." Xavier said with his intimidating aura all over him.
"I-I will, Prince. I-I will tell everything, a-although... I don't actually know a lot... I'm s-sorry," Celeste stooped down her head. Napalingon sa kanya si Lt. Neud.
"That will do. Tell me." Xavier leaned forward a bit on the table.
"I-I learned the thing about Ursaminor from an old woman in a department store. She told me that they can help me with my h-husband. She told me that they will give me protection from him as long as I will join them. I-I immediately agreed. I'm desperate. I can't tolerate R-Rigel's maltreatment to me anymore..."
Speaking of that bastard Sgt. Rigel, iniisip ko tuloy kung anong nangyari sa kanya sa loob ng isang linggong pagkakakulong niya sa dungeon. But I should not care about him. He's not even worth paying attention to.
Xavier's eyes were focused on Celeste. His fine eyebrows were quite furrowed and his thin pinkish lips were pursed. I'm also listening to what Celeste is saying but, my sight were fixed on him. I wonder how he can make me divert my attention to him.
Patuloy ko siyang tinitigan. Well, hindi niya naman ako nakikita. Thanks to Sgt. Harvey. I'm just curious on when I will be visible again.
Maya-maya, nagtagpo ang mga mata namin ni Xavier. He's staring at me now. He's looking at me.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang mapagtanto na dapat hindi niya ako nakikita! I lifted my hands and looked at it. I'm visible now! Damn it!
"What are you doing here?" Xavier arched a brow. Lahat ng nasa loob ng kuwarto ay nagtatakang napatingin din sa'kin.
What to do now, Clardia?
I swallowed before making myself looked composed. I confidently walk towards them and sat on a sofa while crossing legs. I cleared my throat upon speaking.
"Well, General Xavier, I just... uhm, okay. I apologize for barging inside and eavesdropping on your conversation but, I'm just worried of Celeste. I got driven of everything I heard and I got interested so... I am here..." I said and removed my crossed legs."If you'll excuse me now...I'll go. Sorry for the disturbance again."
Tatayo na sana ako nang magsalita naman si Xavier.
"Stay."
I looked at him with widened eyes. "Are you sure?"
"Yes. We might need you to confirm some matters." he said and diverted his gaze to Celeste. "Continue."
Umayos ako nang upo at tinuon na ang atensyon kay Celeste na nasa harap ko lang din. She looked at me and I nodded at her.
"T-They b-brought me to their fortress as soon as I agreed..."
"Then you know where it is," Xavier's eyes narrowed into slits.
"N-No, Prince. They knocked me off before and after bringing me there so, I didn't get the chance to know how they brought me to their fortress." paliwanag ni Celeste.
Gano'n din nila ako dinala sa kanilang lungga. I can say that they're cautious.
Tumango-tumango sa kanya Si Xavier before gesturing her to continue.
"T-They told me some things about their organization when I was at their fortress..." I leaned forward the sofa as Celeste was about to spill something significant about Ursaminor. "They have seven elite members. T-They told me that they are originally the founders of the organization."
"Basically speaking, those seven members were their group's foundation," si Xavier.
"Do you know who are they?" tanong ko kay Celeste. She gaze at me and shook her head.
"N-Not all of them, Sister. Only from their Gamma to Eta."
"What do you mean?" si Xavier naman ang nagtanong.
