The media was crowded for the third Military briefing.
Serge smiled, as he pressed the "ON" button, and pointed at US Generals Ian Harding, Gretel Harding, and Kath Harding.
Jenny Sanders watched on with 64 other media crews from across America.
"Hello everyone. I know that everyone is scared. We just had three survivors who were attacked off Ellis Island by Drone Zombies...We have, in the era of US General Shawshuck, Jr, and General Shawshuck III, that the four stages of the Zombie mania crisis that has caused mayhem in New New York, Los Angeles, Louisiana, Georgia, Atlanta, Coney Island, Ellis Island, and San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Utah, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Canada across the border...All have been affected by these motherfucking Zombies...Now, we're sure that you, the US public, will adhere to our directives and secure all homes in your cities...and boroughs...Make no mistake...We're all going to survive...As for Assad Assay, the terrorist will be caught...But for now we're in the midst of the Fifth Stage and we will win. Any questions?". US General Ian Harding asked.
"General, how can America be really safe?", she answered.
"America is not safe...But we make it safe" US General Ian Harding said, flustered.
"What he means is that the Zombies that killed my parents years' ago were let loose by the US Government. They bit my parents and turned them into Zombies while I was a teenage girl going to the restroom; I was 13. I survived the Zombie Camp. And Boot Camp where I met my life partner US General Kath Harding. And we kicked those ugly fuckers' ass...And, as the mania increased, we're not going relax; we're not going to lie low. Yes, we have soldiers who are in The Middle East; in Darwin, Australia training with the Aussie soldiers at their base...and other bases...Even the word 'terrorism' is bandied in the media too freely...The definition of the word is, and I quote, '...The use of violence for political purposes'...Now, that's the true meaning of the word...Urban accidents in big cities is an accident...There's no Muslims with a AK 47s going down the New New York streets off 7th Avenue in their right hands trying to shoot up New New Yorkers; no American terrorists with sub machine guns killing the locals because they are concerned that the FBI, CIA, and US President Elect John Maxwell and Jim Maine, (who are former Governors of New New York and Savannah, Georgia), are prepared to lead America into the near future...You see, the next decade needs to have everyone know who is the real enemy...And who will win the war", US General Gretel Harding said.
"When will the war end?", Charles Thompson, a freelance war reporter, 32, asked.
"It's a war of no end...It goes on until the Zombies die". US General Kath Harding answered.
She had a frightening look on her face.
"But all wars have an end". Charles Thompson said. He had short, brown hair, brown eyes, and tall.
He wore a blue jacket, a brown colored shirt, a blue colored tie, brown colored trousers, a black colored belt, brown colored socks, and black colored shoes.
And a silver colored watch on his right hand.
"Not all wars end, Charles", Jenny Sanders said.
"Well, if you are not as experienced as I am, Jenny", Charles said pompously. And then Jenny Sanders punched Charles in the face with her right hand.
"You broke my nose, you fucking bitch". Charles swore. Blood was dripping from his ruined nose.
"OK, you two are out!", US General Gretel Harding.
And, for Jenny Sanders and Charles Thompson, their press conference was over.
