after going for a while, i got tired. i knew i needed to lose this one. i still hadn't picked Luka, and i still wasn't going too. Grace and i locked eyes. she could always read through whatever emotion i had plastered on my face, she knew i was tired. she nodded at me.

"G." i said. and as always, she gave me a run for my money. but in the end, i pulled up with a three and left it short, she got the rebound. i walked to the baseline, getting high fives from everyone as i go, until i stopped and decided to stand next to Luka.

"couldn't help but notice you never picked me." he said, his arms crossed.

"distractions aren't good in a game like Embarrassment." flashing him a lust-filled look. he smiled, bringing his face closer to mine, when Grace called his name.

"we will continue this later, need a ride after practice ?" he asked.

"win this and we'll see." i answered, a smile couldn't help but trickle on my face, and i knew my cheeks were flushed. Sadie nudged me.

"Dude what the hell is going on with u and Luka !?!" she asked. Luka stole the ball from Gracie.

"nothing.. yet." i said.
