Adriel hasn't replied to my text for couple of days.., well I texted him once but I haven't send him any text again yet, knowing that he said he needs some time to think about it. But here I am going to the Hamilton's house to send my dad's wedding invitation for his parents. I really hope that he wants to see me, at least we can talk this out.., even though I'm not ready for whatever the decision we'll take.

The car stopped right at the lobby then I got in, I remember it's weekday so his parents probably aren't home. But I know their people so it's no big deal, I can give the invitation to whoever in the house. I got into the house and I went to the living room where it's empty, now I don't know what to do, I used to go straight to Adriel's room but we're not in a good term.

"Becca," I turn around to find Evan who's just walking into the living room,

"Hi Evan," I said smiling, I'm a little bit relieved when I saw him honestly.

"Adriel just left an hour ago with Jamie, they're having a night out with the rest of the team somewhere," he said putting his car key on the kitchen table, he definitely just got back from somewhere.

"I just got back from Amanda," he said like he just read my mind, guess he can read my face.

"Oh.., how is she?" I asked.

"She's great, she decided to take the therapy, she's going to meet her doctor tomorrow to discuss about the plan," he said and I can say that he's very happy, I heard that she didn't want to take the chemo because she was afraid of the side effect. Knowing that she wants to give it a chance, it gives him, and of course us, a hope.

"Great to hear that," I smile.

"How about you?" Evan suddenly teased then I smile.

"I'm great," I smile.

"You and Adriel?" He asked.

"We're together, you must have heard,"

"But," he said like he already sense something.

"But we're not really talking right now," I said then he broke into a smile, like he knew it.

"Want a beer?" He asked then I chuckle, I know Evan, he wants me to sit there with a beer and talk about my side so he can be just a good listener or sometimes he'll give a suggestion.

"Okay," I said then we ended up sitting in the dining room with a beer that his parents bought from the other side of this country.

"What's wrong?" He asked as I sip on a beer.

"How do you know that something is wrong between me and him," I asked.

"Adriel is my identical twin we have this thing in common," he said then I chuckle.

"Well, I can easily read his face, we've spent 9 months in the same womb so I've been doing it since we were a zygote," he said then I laugh.

"His mood is not so good these days," he said.

"He didn't tell you?" I asked then he shake his head.

"He's a little private when it comes to his feelings sometimes, it makes me kinda worried sometimes, because we'll never know if he's hiding away his feelings, whether his hurt or not," he said and I smile,

Evan is a really good brother.., and I know that since we met. I know how much Adriel looks up to him and how he's holding on to his brother, both of them are always in each other's side no matter what. I don't think they ever fight over something, they're always in a good terms and I have no idea how they maintain that. Well.., I can tell that sometimes Evan could be a little annoyed when Adriel does something stupid but again, I don't know where Evan got that patient. He's so patient and calm with everything like he always know what to do, I always admire that side of him.

"I worried sometimes too, he's never been mad at me,"

"Well, we fought over something stupid but this time it's different, it's not just some stupid thing,"

"I've never seen him this disappointed before," I said.

"What's the problem if I can ask?" He asked.

"I'm moving out to Paris with my dad and Emma," I explained then he sighed with a smile, he grab on the beer then began to drink it.

"He doesn't believe in long distance relationships," I said then he nodded.

"Well.., he's acting like there's no technology or an aircraft that can fly human anywhere in this world," he said then I chuckle.

"I really don't know.., all I know that the look on his face was full of disappointment,"

"Yeah because you two just started it," Evan said then I nodded.

"How about your job here?" He asked.

"My agency is a worldwide agency so I'll be transferred to the agency branch in Paris," I calmly said.

"How about school? College?" He asked.

"I'll be taking a free time for a year to learn the language, I'll take a coarse for a year then the other year I'll probably going to look for a university," I said.

"Sounds like it all well planned," he said then it makes me frowned, because it is. It's been planned since right after my dad and Emma got engaged.

"You've been planning it for a while?" He asked then I nodded.

"Yeah after my dad got engaged," I said.

"So your dad and Emma planned to move out while also taking you abroad," he asked.

"They asked me to move out with them," I explained,

"You've known it before you decided to start your relationship with Adriel?" He asked then I nodded, and from the look in his eyes he knows why Adriel is disappointed.

"You knew his principles but you ignore it, guess that's why he's disappointed," Evan said then I nodded.

"I know,"

"But, Evan," I sigh.

"My parent's divorce was horrible, and it was the worst time, I've never really have a complete family until now,"

"I just want to know and feel how to have a family again.., living in the same roof..,"

"Emma, she's like the mother I've never had," I explained then he nodded.

"I understand," he said.

"Though decisions," he said.

"But you love him right?"

"And he knows that," he said.

"You have to tell him this side of you, because he'll never know if you don't tell him,"

"But what if he still insist?" I asked.

"I'm pretty sure he's not that dumb to let you go,"

"You guys have been friends for a really long time, distance is just another problem that you guys probably can get through," he said.

"I believe this things won't change a thing.., hopefully," he said then I nodded.

"So Paris?" He asked then I nodded while drinking on my beer.

"That's far," he said then I sigh.

"I know," I said.

"My dad works there, he doesn't want to repeat his mistakes by being away from his spouse, Emma herself has accepted to follow him abroad," I explained.

"They've been talking about it before they got engaged,"

"But did they talk about it with you?" He asked then somehow it makes me frown.

"Not until they got engaged," I said then he nodded.

"It's alright Becca, it's just life," he said then I nodded.

"You'll be fine, you guys will be fine," Evan nodded as I nodded while feeling a little not sure.

"Anyway, this is the wedding invitation for your parents," I hand him the white letter.

"Am I invited?" He asked then I chuckle,

"Of course Evan," I said then he smiles, his smile reminds me so much of Adriel which makes me feel sad a little.

"Guess I gotta go, I stil get so many more to delivered," I said then he nodded before getting up from his seat.

"Okay, I'll walk you outside," he said then we walk out of his house into the lobby where my driver parked the car.

"I'm sure he's not that mad Becca, don't you worry, he can't be mad at someone that he loves," he said then I nodded.

"Thanks Evan," I said.

"Bye," I said before getting into the car.

I actually hope that maybe I could meet him and fix this thing with him, but turns out that he's not even home.
