I took that cup of coffee and sat on the sofa. My ears heard something
that was just about to ruin my whole day.

At first, I heard my old phone ringing, it was the phone that I used
before I came here.
I didn’t even touch that phone since I moved here because I feared my parents.
The phone ringing wasn’t the worst thing yet; as soon as the phone
stopped ringing someone knocked on my apartment room door.
I felt like
my heart was about to jump out of my body.

“Ahhhh… It must be my parents! I’m dead for sure!!!”

I gathered all the courage I could and went near the door.
My courage started to deteriorate as the knocking on the door was getting louder.

“Or it could be just the apartment owner, I haven’t given her the rent
yet. Why am I overthinking again?”

I opened the door with the hope that I won’t die today.

“Atlas!!!” yelled a familiar voice …

“Alex! How did you get to know I’m here?”

“You are dumb as always. You didn’t turn off your location and your
snap chat clearly shows where you are!”

“Oh Shit!!!” I ran towards my phone and turned off my location and
threw my phone until it was shattered into pieces…

“You’re very lucky that your parents don’t have snap chat,” said Alex.

“How did u come here?
“I came with my parents here for holiday…
Oh I almost forgot; I have to get go… BYE!”

“But u just came?” I asked him.

“Do you want my parents to talk about this to your parents?” he asked
while leaving the front door.

“Nooo!” I answered.

“Then I have to go” he said and scrammed while waving his hand to me.

I went back in and sat down. Alex is my friend from my previous school.
He is one of the friendliest people I know.
I couldn’t believe that he
went through all of this just to help me after what I did to him in the past.
